Hello all. What an honor to to be able to send our condolences to the Royal Family. We wanted to share our messages that we sent with you. And Balmoral, WOW!!! This video was great and we hope you will find enjoyment within it. Thank you for watching. God Bless the Queen and God Save the King!
I've just been trying to get my around what 50'000 Acres looks like. The best I could do is this... 1 Acre equates to 15 Tennis courts, so try imagine a block of 750'000 Tennis courts! 🤯
Story from Queen's Bodyguard: "There were two hikers coming towards us and the Queen would always stop and say hello. It was two Americans on a walking holiday and it was clear they hadn't recognised her, which was fine." "The American man asked her if she lived in the area to which she replied that she did indeed have a house nearby. "She said that she lived in London but had a house just over the hill, and he asked how often she had been coming up here. "She said she'd been coming up for more than 80 years and you could see the cogs were ticking. He said: 'Well if you've been coming up here for 80 years, you must have met the Queen?' "As quick as a flash, she said 'Well I haven't but Dick here meets her regularly.' So the guy asked me what she was like. "Anyway the next thing I knew, this guy comes round, puts his arm around my shoulder, and before I could see what is happening, he gives his camera to the Queen and asks her to take a photo of us. "Anyway, we swapped places, I took a photo of them with the Queen, we never let on and we waved goodbye. Then Her Majesty said to me that she'd love to be a fly on the wall when he shows these photos to his American friends and hopefully someone tells him who I am."
The Queen said when she drove through the gates of Balmoral she hung her crown on the gates and became just a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I live in Edinburgh and had the privilege on Tuesdsy evening of seeing her lying at rest in St Giles. Thank you ladies ❤
This is lovely to know. At Balmoral they just real people without the media or the public privy on their lives. Balmoral is their fortress!!! Thanked God for using Prince Albert purchasing this estate!!
There's a lovely story from many years ago that the Queen was walking near Balmoral with a single gamekeeper when they happened across an American tourist hiking. They got talking and the American, not realising who he was talking to, asked if they had ever met the Queen. Her Majesty reply replied, "no, I haven't. But he has." The American was so happy to meet someone who had met the Queen that he asked Her Majesty to take a picture of him with the Gamekeeper. She also got him to have a picture taken with her, after which they parted company having never identified herself to the tourist. I would love to have seen his face the first time he showed that photo to someone who recognised her!
How kind of the Queen to have her picture taken with him, knowing how much it would mean to him once the penny dropped; she also had a “twinkling” sense of humour.
They are more holiday homes, Buckingham Palace was “living above the shop” business, Windsor the weekend respite. I don’t think King Charles will be living above the shop, but will continue in the older London Palace that he currently uses. Partly because Buckingham Palace is being re-wired.
Lol i remember that story, the couple from America also asked the gamekeeper " what the Queen was like" which he gave a sarcastic but funny answer, and after they went on there ways, the Queen chuckled to the game gamekeeper, just imagine asking the Queen to take a picture of the couple and the gamekeeper
@@thomasoneil9338 There are even bothies on the estate that hikers can stay in if the weather gets bad. Now bothies aren't luxury, they're literally a roof and four walls to keep the weather off and maybe a fireplace to keep warm, but no water or electric. But bothies are required to be open to the public.
hey ladies I'm from Scotland I just want to say thankyou for your kind respects to us in the UK coping with the death of our Queen. It's much appreciated.
Ladies, your reaction to watching videos of the different royal residences is absolutely priceless, and I loved watching your beautiful and respectful reaction to the funeral of Her Majesty God bless you both. 🇬🇧 ❤ 🇺🇸
From what I've read recently, the Queen reduced the prices of the holiday homes at Balmoral drastically so people could have a holiday without it costing too much as she was aware of the cost of living at the moment. She loved Balmoral as she could walk around freely and you could meet her when she was out walking her dogs.
There is the story of one holiday maker saying to her 'you look so much like the Queen, have you ever met her' to which she replied 'I haven't actually met her, no. But my husband has'
What a touching and heartfelt opening to the video!! It has been said many times and there is footage of Queen Elizabeth driving herself around Balmoral Estate in her Land Rover, often at high speed. I think I also recall a story that she was driving a Saudi Prince once who asked her to slow down but the Queen reportedly grinned and sped up as a slight dig for the laws surrounding women not being able to drive in his country. Balmoral and Windsor castle are both my favourites.
Thank you Natasha & Debbie . Reading your comments regarding our beloved Queen brought a tear to my eye once again thank you both for you lovely comments.
So nice of you both to express your feelings for Queen Elizabeth in your letters of condolence. We certainly thank you so much for your kindness. THANK YOU
Fun fact: prince Albert and Queen Victoria loved Scotland so much that they put on Scottish accents (or atleast tried) when they came to Balmoral ,Albert even took gaelic lessons.
I just went there yesterday for the first time to pay my respect and leave flowers outside the gate. People are still dropping off notes and flowers. It's nice to see you do this video and especially so recently after I went there
Thank you once again Ladies for the considerate, respectful!, interesting and genuine perspective you bring to your content. The opening nearly had me in tears!
Thank you thank you dear ladies. It is a delight to see the pleasure you derive from learning about our country. You are always respectful and this is very much appreciated. Fondest regards from Keith shwalbe in the UK. Keep learning, and keep enjoying both of you. We in the UK are rather fond of you both. . 🎉
We passed by the Balmoral area the day before the Queen died. Weirdly, we were heading to a hotel a bit further south on the afternoon of her death, driving along a pretty deserted country road here in Scotland. We came round a corner to see a Golden Eagle sitting on the road in front of us. It saw our car, hesitated for a moment and then took off and flew away. Its wingspan was enormous and I could still clearly see it minutes later as it flew into the distance. The weird thing is, seeing a Gloden Eagle signifies ‘majesty’ and this would be about 2 hrs before the Balmoral announcement of the Queens death. I have seen Golden Eagles before but never anything this close or in such bizarre circumstances..
I think many funny things would likely have happened that day. Emotions have energy and we live in an energetic universe. The tie between the Queen and the UK is so strong, it makes sense to me that during her transition, there would have been a lot of disruption of various kinds.
Ladies I've only got as far as your messages to our beautiful queen, I have to say that both made me cry and I'm 59, I truly respect you both and I've watched lots of you both in the past and you have such a beautiful love for each other, god bless and god bless our King, 👑💐🙏🙏
Another amazing video by you two ladies. Appreciate the videos to help with the passing of our Queen. Love Balmoral never been there. Lovely you shared you're message you sent to the Royal family.
the castle and the grounds at Balmoral look amazing, and the fact it has a large kitchen garden that that they harvest every year is just 👍that's the thing i like about Charles, he has a passion for food sustainability and organic growing and for the welfare of the wildlife as well 🦔🐿 🌲great video guys 👍
Thank you so much for honouring and respecting our late Queen, much appreciated. The Queen spends 3 months in the summer at Balmoral. From December to February in Sandringham House. Weekdays at Buckingham Palace and weekends at Windsor Castle. They have a number of other castles and palaces through the U.K. they also use.
Three days ago I was honored to have the village I grew up in (Aboyne) be one of the little villages the Queen's coffin passed through Royal Deeside. I was also honoured to be able to be there to as she passed through to say goodbye. I have only met the Queen once when I was still at school and in the choir and we got to go up and perform at the Crathie Kirk when the Queen was up on one of her many holiday's and although our meeting was quick she seemed to genuinely seemed to take a real interest in everyone one of us and made us feel really special. May she rest in peace.
Hey Ladies, Yes the Balmoral estate was one of 2 private estates of The Queen. This was there chill down place in the summer months. I listened to a former head Royal chef and he said it wasn't uncommon for Prince Phillip to decide he'd cook for everyone while at Balmoral. The other titbit of history is that The Queen would invite the Prime Minister and his/her family to Balmoral for a week in September. There'd be a dinner party on arrival where the Queen and other Royals would cook and serve the Prime minister dinner. I watch ex PM Tony Blair talk about how odd this was to him after he became prime minister and went with his family to stay the first time. Apparently he tried to help grab some food and got told no this night you're our guest and must just sit at the table and not do anything!
@@Onur-ng7cz another story was that whilst at Balmoral The Queen, on more than one occasion, told Dennis to make sure Maggie had a good rest as Maggue was known to be a workaholic
@@Onur-ng7cz I can imagine that! Never seen anybody in the modern era curtsey to the Queen as deeply as Thatcher did - so deeply that the Queen was looking quite far down, and Her Majesty was not a tall woman. So yep, Thatcher took royal protocol incredibly seriously and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she was uncomfortable!
Thank you for your kind messages. My parents both worked and served for the Royal Family over the years, and my mum even worked for Princess Diana, so it's a hard time for us at the moment, especially for my parents. And seeing your messages, and just your videos in general, warms my heart. Thank you Natasha and Debbie
Your introduction and memorial comments to the sovereign was a 'Touch of Class' ..... as a Welshman grieving at the loss of her majesty with a new prince and king I appreciate your sentiment and sincerity
Hi Natasha & Debbie, You certainly do love our beloved country and especially our precious Queen may she be with her beloved and resting peacefully! If you look up the Royal's dancing at the ball from Balmoral there is great footage of them all, Including our gorgeous Princess Diana x
Hello new subscriber here I had to do it after the heartfelt and touching reaction you gave to King Charles' speech being half English it was very nice to see such respect you had for the King God bless Queen Elizabeth and God save the King 🌷🕊️🇬🇧🇺🇸🌎
The amount of love and passion you show for our country is truly inspiring and makes me proud to be British, we need more people like you in the world ❤
Thank you both for the respect you show to our late Queen and country. You should check out Sandringham Estate where the Queen loved to spend Christmas.
Well done ladies, this is not easy for any of us, we are definitely feeling all the love from around the world back here in the UK, Thankyou and god bless
I think Queen Victoria's favourite home was Osbourne House on the Isle of Wight, you definitely can visit that one !! Love you two, keep up the good work !! God save the King !!
I'm lucky enough to live in Aberdeenshire and it is very beautiful, if you are able to watch the footage recently of the queen's coffin traveling from Balmoral to Edinburgh, you will get a real flavour of the countryside. Aberdeenshire has the most castles per square mile than anywhere else in the UK and is home to Dunnottar Castle which you have seen before, the castle on the cliff edge.
I know it's not the same as being there, but you can shop online at the Balmoral Gift Shop. My favourite of the Royal residences in the UK is Windsor Castle because I love history and it was built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. It's spectacular and also has massive grounds. When you come to the UK, be sure to sit on the left side of the plane so that when it descends just before landing at Heathrow airport you will have a wonderful view of Windsor Castle. You will be quite low at that point so can see everything so clearly. By the way, do you never think of looking at Google maps/aerial view to see places? You would have been able to see what Balmoral looked like if you had. I love being able to virtually explore places on Google maps street view but many people don't seem to realise they can do that.
Balmoral is a lovely place i never been there myself. The Queen loved being there its her own residence, thank you for your lovely words about our belated Queen from Norfolk UK
Ladies, please check out The Palace of Holyrood House in Edinburgh, this is where the Queen lay at rest her first night in Edinburgh. It really is a fairy tail place. The round things are called pepperpot turrets.
The first few minutes of this made me crack for the first time since our beloved Queen passed away, it’s starting to feel real now we have her back in England and prepare for taking her to Westminster for her lying in state. I think it is a massive comfort to the people she passed away at her beloved Balmoral Castle, I would just like to say thank you to the Scots for taking care of her and doing her proud. Thank you both for all your love and condolences. Ps Balmoral Castle is already open to the public when the late Queen isn’t using it.
You guys are just amazing -love how you respect our country and for your love of the Queen- and the surprise on your faces is priceless- Thankyou so much for your videos ❤
Balmoral Castle is open to the public from April to July. I just found your channel tonight and have watched 6 of your videos including the Queens funeral it's still very hard for us to watch the funeral. Thank both so much for the way you both watched it and like us show so much respect and love for the Queen. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hi girls, thank you so much for a lovely tribute and kind words for our late Queen Elizabeth. It was so kind of you to think of us all in the UK. I'm so fortunate I'm from Scotland and was able to be in Edinburgh yesterday for her coffin leaving Hollyrood Palace and travel up the Royal Mile. I patiently waited over 5hrs to view her coffin lying in state in St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. It was so moving! I said a thank you to her majesty for all her service and duty to her beloved country 🇬🇧🏴 thank you ma'am, rest in peace 🙏 💔
When you showed ‘you can rest now you earned it.’ That got to me, as so many people work hard all their life but do not get this respect. Which I find sad. I will always champion the hard workers, be they cleaners, gardeners etc. When I retired the biggest compliment to me was when the cleaners gave me a card and small gift. This meant the world to me, more than anything. Thanks for the video.
I live in Aberdeen which is where the Royal family fly to and from when they visit Balmoral. The castle falls within the boundary of the town of Ballater, which is absolutely beautiful. Most of the shops there carry the Royal Warrant which they proudly display on their shop fronts. You can visit Balmoral when the family are not in residence, but mainly the grounds and the Ballroom; their private rooms are not open to the public. Her Majesty was said to be at her happiest when she was here; the scenery is so awe inspiring that this part of Royal Deeside is commonly referred to as “God’s Country.” I have been very emotional since Her Majesty’s passing; perhaps more so because she died here and her cortège passed through so many of the towns we class as “home”. We are heartbroken at her death and are visiting Balmoral tomorrow. I would have gone sooner but have been working abroad. Have never been prouder to be a Scottish Brit; I think as a country, we’ve afforded The Queen the respect and deference she so richly deserved.
I teared up watching you write your condolences. Thank you 🙏 Balmoral and the grounds are truly stunning I really enjoyed watching. Hever Castle (pronounced Heaver) is my favourite place. It was the ancestral home of Anne Boleyn and was visited by King Henry VIII. I used to live quite near to it but now my local castle is Arundel Castle which is 3 miles away.
You can visit the castle! Walk round the grounds and sometimes they open specific rooms for people to see. It’s AMAZING!! You should definitely visit if you’re even in Scotland
Debbie the words you were groping for were crenellations (upy and downy bits) and turrets (roundy bits) :-) As a Brit with a great respect for the Queen and traddition I appreciate your sensitivity. Balmoral was as close as they could get to being normal - wearing old clothes, walking in the grounds with the dogs and jumping in the Landrover to go to the shops. It kept them sane and connected.
While in residence the Queen often walked the grounds and met locals on their walks, she was always happy to stop and chat with people, and I believe this is the only location where people could meet and talk to the Queen without her security, or the pomp and ceremony. She loved Balmoral and the town close by, in my view I feel it gave her a sense of normality and the ability to mix with others.
Hi there can i just say how much we love you two. Your videos are brilliant. We love you like you are our family especially when you get emotional watching our lovely ceremonial occasions. Are you visiting UK soon please do you will be given a tremendous welcome. Dreading the queens funeral . Glad to be part of your family too. We are strong allies aren't we. All our castles are wondrous not two the same. The queen loved Balmoral Scotland is full of castles. Anyway lovely to speak to you both will be watching for your videos. Please take care. UK loves you both x best wishes..... Suexx
Her Late Majesty's favourite residence. They generally dined on game and fish that have been shot or caught on the estate, favourites being fresh salmon and venison. Don't forget that Victoria and Albert had nine children. They would also need rooms for guests and servants. Both of the late Queen's private residences (Balmoral and Sandringham) were partially open to the public, when she was not in residence. None of the royals like living in Buckingham Palace.
Hello again ladies, I am very fortunate to live only 45 miles from Balmoral Castle and the village of Balmoral which is very picturesque. The castle is already open to the public during the summer months and closes again around a week before the Royal party arrive for their summer break. I hope you do get an opportunity to visit some day, you won't be disappointed ❤️
You two Ladies are beautiful inside and out. I'm from England and have seen many castles but when i saw the castle of Balmoral, i had the same reaction lol
What a lovely idea that was, to start the video in that way 😊 (and what a tidy space where you have your computer.....I cannot imagine having a table or desk space with nothing else on it....you know, just other....stuff 😅) x
Thank you Natasha & Debbie for your sweet kind compassionate words and respect of our very sad loss of out beautiful majesty Ma'am 👸🇬🇧 😘 🌺🌺😢🙏🏻god bless you both ladies sending much love to you both from you 🇬🇧💕 you are correct prince philp died April 9th 2021
Queen Victoria had a very large family so a big holiday home was necessary! There is a video of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip and the 4 children preparing a BBQ at Balmoral by the lake. Philip organised the family and did the cooking.
Windsor Castle is obviously the most famous castle in the UK, but if you visit these fair shores then Warwick (pronounced "Worrik") Castle is certainly more than worth a visit. I highly recommend it.
I knew a work colleague who, when on holiday there, was having a nice walk through the woods and saw a lady walking towards her with a dog. Yes, it was indeed the Queen, and they exchanged pleasantries about the weather and location. All very British don't you know! 😀
When one considers that the entirety of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and NI) is smaller than the state of Wyoming, the country truly boasts a range of landscapes and natural beauty which is amazing. Of course, Balmoral in Scotland, Sandringham in Norfolk, and the Princes' homes in Wales, Southwest England, and in Scotland are each owned privately by the royals. Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace, Windsor, Holyrood, and Hillsborough are owned by the Crown, and thus controlled and run by the state. It is interesting that the Queen died at her private home, Balmoral. George VI and his father George V both died at thrir favourite private home at Sandringham. Victoria died at her smaller, private home, Osborne House on the Isle of White. The only monarch to die at Buckingham Palace was Edward VII in 1910.
Osborne house is definitely worth a visit … the amazing tree house in the grounds which Victorias children played in . Also one of the worlds first flushing toilets 😀 Also George IV palace at Brighton inspired by South Asian architecture

Hi Natasha and Debbie that was a most respectful video and your comments for our royal family and I have always thought of the USA as our younger cousin's, I had heard just before her majesty passed away that part of the Balmoral estate would become a b&b , bare in mind that Queen Victoria's children were married into many countries royal families as there were 10 children.once again I thank you both .
If you like castles, Aberdeenshire is your place :) I read somewhere that there are over 200 (including Balmoral)! People don't seem to visit the area much which is a shame. I'm biased as it's home for me though...and my mum made some of the fences around the gardens at Balmoral :P I think King Charles might open up Balmoral more to visitors. I love you two more with every video I watch! I moved away from the UK 3 years ago, so I'm loving the videos of home!
Thank you for your lovely video. I'm currently watching events on the telly in England, the queue to pay respects at Westminster Palace is currently 4 miles long and growing. People of all faiths and nationalities are waiting with a common purpose and united to try and acknowledge how Elizabeth the Great influenced and grew the planet. May I also mention and respect the work of our forces in the whole grief riven time. From the military though to the police, ambulance and fire services, all are equally hurting yet carry out their duties with diligence and honour. Thank you.
If you're interested, the style of architecture is called 'Scottish Baronial' or 'Scots Baronial'. It is a Gothic revival based on the architecture of the buildings of the late Middle Ages in Scotland and is a very common style of architecture in Scotland, especially in Edinburgh!

Three days ago I was honored to have the village I grew up in (Aboyne) be one of the little villages the Queen's coffin passed through Royal Deeside.
I was also honoured to be able to be there to as she passed through to say goodbye.
I have only met the Queen once when I was still at school and in the choir and we got to go up and perform at the Crathie Kirk
when the Queen was up on one of her many holiday's and although our meeting was quick she seemed to genuinely seemed to take a real interest in everyone one of us and made us feel really special.
May she rest in peace.
Hey Ladies,
Yes the Balmoral estate was one of 2 private estates of The Queen.
I also heard this was hard for Margaret thatcher as she really didn't feel comfortable about being served by the queen.
Great video girls, thanks for your love to us at this sad time.
Our love is all the time. God bless
Hello new subscriber here I had to do it after the heartfelt and touching reaction you gave to King Charles' speech being half English it was very nice to see such respect you had for the King God bless Queen Elizabeth and God save the King 🌷🕊️🇬🇧🇺🇸🌎

It was her special place. She could be a normal person there Thank you ladies!!
Hi first time subscriber here. Thank you for the respect you showed our Queen.
❤️❤️
The words you both typed at the start moved me to tears, You're both wonderful ladies.
Yes Scottish castles are very different to English and Welsh castles….. More continental in design … Homes for the clans chiefs in ancient times
Came across your channel yesterday. I’ve spent the time since bingeing. Ladies you show so much respect. Love it
What a beautiful introduction to this video. Thank you for your kind words, I shed a tear ❤️
Her Majesty was said to be at her happiest when she was here; the scenery is so awe inspiring that this part of Royal Deeside is commonly referred to as “God’s Country.”
I have been very emotional since Her Majesty’s passing; perhaps more so because she died here and her cortège passed through so many of the towns we class as “home”.
Thank you 🙏
Balmoral and the grounds are truly stunning I really enjoyed watching.
Suexx
Hi Natasha and Debbie thankyou for showing my country in good way I love your videos 🇬🇧
the streets were packed you couldnt moove and thousands turned out it was amazing for my lifetime x
Only 2 minutes in 🥲 you two are adorable ❤️
I do think balmoral is one of the most impressive residences I’ve ever seen - I’m really not surprised it was a favourite of the Queen!
@Nicky L They're fishing in the River Dee, not in lakes or ponds so they don't have to worry about the stock.
@Nicky L no and they are all big hunters which I deteste. ☹️
You two are Awesome,Thank you for your comments at the beginning of this you tube video, visit Scotland, you will love it.
You two Ladies are beautiful inside and out. I'm from England and have seen many castles but when i saw the castle of Balmoral, i had the same reaction lol
That's very sweet of you, thank you
What a lovely idea that was, to start the video in that way 😊 (and what a tidy space where you have your computer.....I cannot imagine having a table or desk space with nothing else on it....you know, just other....stuff 😅) x
You need to see Arundel castle, I pass it every day to get to work, it never gets old!!
Windsor Castle and also Blenheim Palace and Chatsworth House are all beautiful.
I’m privileged to say I’ve visited them all x
Hi Natasha and Debbie, I was really moved by your recent videos.
The Queen was everybody's Queen, not just ours.
Bless you both X
Check out Pembroke Castle in Pembrokeshire , Wales . It's stunning and historical .
Great reaction lady's
Queen Victoria had a very large family so a big holiday home was necessary! There is a video of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip and the 4 children preparing a BBQ at Balmoral by the lake. Philip organised the family and did the cooking.
I am lucky enough to live in royal deeside Balmoral is one of the few castles that we have yet to go to. ❤️
She was wonderful and as sweet as she looked, you don't mess with a woman who had her own airforce
Windsor Castle is obviously the most famous castle in the UK, but if you visit these fair shores then Warwick (pronounced "Worrik") Castle is certainly more than worth a visit. I highly recommend it.
Morning ladies.
Balmoral wow
Agree with you, Natasha and Debbie....American as well!
great video girls its so beautiful , i did love the bit when natasha , says when we going lol loved it
52,000 acres is equal to 81.25 square miles... of gorgeous natural beauty! A jewel in Scotland.
You can now see why she wanted to spend her last days there in peace and beauty!
I knew a work colleague who, when on holiday there, was having a nice walk through the woods and saw a lady walking towards her with a dog. Yes, it was indeed the Queen, and they exchanged pleasantries about the weather and location. All very British don't you know! 😀
Love Debbie's new look! Awesome! Still looking good too, Natasha :)
Thank you of another lovely video ladies and all your love and respect that you have shown ❤
Thank you. Greetings from Glasgow Scotland, United Kingdom.
Hi beautiful Scotland 👋
Thank you for the respect you show.
Isle of Wight. Osborne House is very very interesting.
How interesting.....thank you for telling us that 🙂
Osborne house is definitely worth a visit … the amazing tree house in the grounds which Victorias children played in . Also one of the worlds first flushing toilets 😀 Also George IV palace at Brighton inspired by South Asian architecture

Great video as always.
Debbie, your hair colour/style really compliments you.
BEAR in mind!
Queen Victoria had Nine children.
That's very kind, thank you 😊
Thank you for your lovely video.
Thank you.
thats a lovely message!!
If you're interested, the style of architecture is called 'Scottish Baronial' or 'Scots Baronial'. It is a Gothic revival based on the architecture of the buildings of the late Middle Ages in Scotland and is a very common style of architecture in Scotland, especially in Edinburgh!
