The drawers are not fitting in properly for some odd reason. I have another one the exact same kind and the new drawers fit in fine but for the new one it keeps jamming. Does it matter which of the grey slides I used for the drawers?

I built this desk a couple of weeks ago but can't get the small drawer in. I have double checked the instructions and it is put together right. I had the same problem with the larger drawer but managed to wiggle it in, but the small drawer won't go in no matter what I do! Has anyone else experienced this problem and have a solution for it?
The desk will work and look perfectly fine if I skip/omit the storage door? Prefer to have open storage 🤔 and I hate to have to adjust the screws to get the ideal gap (what you did near end of this video). I got OCD, that will take me forever to do 😂😂😂

Any idea if it’s easy to flip the cabinets around to the other side? Have a friend giving one of these away and they have the drawers on the opposite side than what I need them and I know they can be installed on either side but I’m not sure how much of a hassle it will be
I did it on the left, if you want to do it on the right check Ikea manual page 24 www.manualslib.com/manual/1193023/Ikea-Micke.html It will be quite a job if you are not experienced as you'll have to dismantle most of the desk.

At the first glance it is black. When you look closer you can see brown hints . It depends on the lighting and I suppose the batch as well. But I would say it looks very black rather than very brown, the video shows the colour pretty well.

Heartaxe The desk is very sturdy. We bought it especially for a computer. You can take out the drawers and place a computer, it's very easy to do. We paid £60 for it and believe that it is a good value for money. If you have any other questions I am happy to answer them.

It is more black than brown, when you look first time you'll definitely say it is black, only in different light and a closer look you can see brown hints
It is more black than brown (very dark) but if you really want black you have to have a look before the purchase, because it might not be happy. It's hard to describe this colour, it looks it changes slightly depending on the lighting.

Yes it is. It's pretty spacious, you should have enough space to study.

Yes, you don't need to install the door. The desk is sturdy enough, it won't make any difference

You only need a screwdriver. It's not hard to put together, even if you don't have experience, just follow the instruction exactly step by step.

Yes, I don't see a problem. I have desktop PC and a 24 inch monitor, they fit.

Ikea design it to put the PC tower inside, and without the back the computer ventilation is better.

No, unfortunately the worktop doesn't stick at the back, you won't be able to attach the clamps
