This expensive license was reason why I choose in the end Android. Didn't really had much choice. In my country 99$ is almost one week salary and not that easy to get on the spot
In my country it's a whole month salary
Really nice video. Great tutorial about the App Store
I know what I’m doing, this video was more efficient than reading for myself. Thanks
Amazing video. I had no clue about ad hoc app distribution! That's going to come in handy for me. I definitely am someone who paid $99 for nothing - I haven't shipped any apps but I'm definitely going to take advantage of the code support sessions. Thanks Dave!
Thanks Gio! Happy to hear that :)
Thank you sir really appreciate
This answered what I've been wondering this whole time. Really straight to the point. Thanks Dave and have a nice weekend!
Appreciate it as always Joe!
Thank you for this vid, the tech support section was really helpful. I wasn't aware it existed. :)
You're welcome!
Thank you Dave for this informative video! 😊
Hi
So in order to get certain entitlements we need to have a Developer license right? Please correct me if iam wrong, cause im trying to get the Wifi Entitlement ( "Access Wifi Information" ) and i dont seem to find this under my basic account
Hello , thanks for the video it was great , i applied for account but they didn't replay back to activate it and pay the 99$ , 10 days ago is that normal
Awesome video bud. Thank you. Can you please make a video about your apps in the App Store what the review process was like and how long it took.
I appreciate that! For the actual review process has been pretty quick(less than a day) once everything is submitted. I have a lot of other vids in the works right now so not sure if I'll be doing an in depth review of the process soon but check out "Code With Chris" and "Jared Davidson". They both have high quality vids on the submission process. Good luck and lmk if I can help with anything else.
did you get the role at JPMC? I personally didn't but I was routing for you.
I have an apple developer account. I’m trying to figure out how to add my friend to my account so he can side load apps on his iPhone. So far I’ve added his UDID and invited him as a developer role. Will he be able to side load using his AppleID or do I make a developer provisioning profile and certificate that he’ll have to use?
intro music sounds like its from the lion king 🔥🔥
Any iOS developer can multiple create apps with different apple developer accounts? It is possible that multiple apps are including in the portfolio of iOS developer and he/she created these apps through multiple accounts?
i bought the 99 dollar apple dev license but under my "devices" tab it shows that my iphone is "ineligible for 14 days" and I cant use anything. Why?
is there a way where multiple developers can share one apple Id ? they allow unlimited apps with one account.
How much time it takes to get the license these days?
the ad hoc is not exactly that. You can register up to 100 devices (with device id) to your account, and you can sign your app (any app) to run on these devices. Not 100 apps or builds, any of your your builds, but only on this 100 devices. If you register a new device, you have to add it to the dev cert, and refresh it on the building device (your mac or any mac build slaves). After that the app will be signed with that new cert, and will able to run on any device that particular cert contains.
we used this when we worked at a smaller company for testing, we registered all the developer and tester devices to the account, and we could create an IPA for the app to distribute among these 100 devices. And that time, you could delete devices from that list, but you won't get back those "slots", just next year, when you renew your developer subscription.
Unfortunately if you are over 100 devices, you have to have an enterprise account, but with that, you can distribute your app between any of your devices, if you accepting the enterprise cert on that device.
U buy apple developer individual accounts?
if I enroll for the 99$ plan ,my personal name will be displayed on app description (app developer or i can edit).thank you
you missed APN certificate
Can I use the push notifications option for my project with a free developer account?
No
I thought you were wearing a durag
aside from push notifications I wonder if there is a way to test this feature before getting a paid apple developer account
No
Are the Mac OS Beta installable on Windows Machine ?
I don't think so.
Buy a Mac mini. It’s really good
@@vrk1131 Probably i'll add it in my budget in July, but i'm not sure what SSD size to go for.
Upon distribution you're not selling? Not sure more than several with your internal team should be testing. This is a huge snag, because the testers go unpaid; if the automation doesn't have the capacity to prompt and test it without exposing it to the general public and launching it without a sale then it's generated losses. In other words, 3 good testing features should be able to crash any program and that's what you want through automation, this is how programs are tested in the laboratory in real life.
I remember buying this but never putting it to use. It JUST expired. I knew what I was getting into, but then shifted back to web development. Oh well haha.
Yeah I’m sure you’re not the only one!
VERY THOROUGH!!!!!!!!! Now I need to hire someone to do this for me 😁
