I made this a little tougher than it needed to be as I made the list based on cocktails that HAD NOT been featured on the channel before... I'm keen to do this again but tweak the 'rules'. I think it would be great to add a list of links to other recipes you have made using these ingredients- I always love more ideas and it could give your older vids more traffic!
Steve the Bartender yes I think that would be a great idea. As much as these cocktails are probably delicious, they are not very common/well known. Plus I would love to see another video like this
Really appreciate your stuff. Yours and “how to drink” are the only channels I watch for cocktails. Keep that cheesy smile when you shake drinks haha it’s awesome! Just made your cold toddy (gold rush) tonight in fact.
Steve the Bartender I’m talking like smoked Gouda cheesy. Not like your processed American cheese cheesy. Haha good cheese. Probably a poor choice of words in the first place.
Great video, Steve! I was excited when you put out the ingredient survey and was not disappointed. Your daily videos are so refreshing on these monotonous quarantine days. Stay safe!
I really like your videos, it is clear and teaches me how to become a future bartender, I study at a hotel school and right now in quarantine your videos help. Greetings from the Czech republic! 🙂🍹
Really a good video..! I've got to make some honey syrup and get wifey into the cocktail fold! I'm with you, the Pegu sounded hinky and 8 dashes of bitters in the TJ Smash..?! The silly Moscow Mule has taught me the beauty of ginger beer. A great video, one to definitely save..!
I watch all your videos and I find them amazing and inspirational. I happened to also notice this is the only one thus far that you didn't smile while shaking the Outrigger! Threw me off for a second. Lol
Man... This is a really thoughtful video. Thank you so much for this kind of content on this difficult days. Loved it and will do some of those babes! Please, do more videos like this one! :) And keep safe, man!
Love watching you make drinks Steve! Your videos are educational, entertaining, easy to watch and perfectly simple - Very balanced just like a great cocktail! Idea - How about a focus on an ingredient instead of the spirit. Example - ginger syrup. how many different cocktails can we make using that? This way, when we make a bottle of syrup, we have a variety of options that will allow us to use it up before it goes bad.
Turned out excellent, and of course super easy to make. Delicious, and has a lovely pale/medium peach color from the Angostura bitters. Used Citadelle Gin, which comes from the same estate that does all the Pierre Ferrand line.
Big fan! You do good work, sir. With all due respect, might I suggest double straining (Hawthorne + fine mesh) your egg white cocktails? I've had many a sour with stray shell or that little membrane thing. I also find it does something cool to the texture of foam. Keep up the good work!
The honey bee is amazing. Much better than a mai tai and so much more simple. I tried it with lime too and I think I like the lime variant better. Anyway, thanks for sharing. This one is in my simple cocktail arsenal for sure.
So glad you did a video like this. I have all these ingredients and been wanting to try different variations of classic cocktails. Definitely gonna try these
Could you do a video (maybe series) based around a particular random liqueur because we all have some random liqueur we bought for one cocktail and knowing how to use it better would be sweet. An example would be this lovely bottle of Galliano which mixes amazingly well with root beer/cream soda and spiced rum... but beyond that I would love some other ideas.
Thanks for that episode, I believe it would be useful for a lot of people around the world. Personally, I'm packed on alcohol myself since I'm a cocktail enthusiast (I prefer that term to alcoholic), but even then, never heard of outrigger before. Gotta try that one, sound easy and delicious!
I enjoy watching your videos and have learned so much the last two weeks. Thanks to your videos my family and friends are impressed with my new found skills. Keep it up and I'm looking forward to watch more videos!
Wonderful cocktail mixes with ur charming smiles more sweet than honey that u mix steve bro and an incredible mind soothing back ground music along with ur booze techniques, cheers buddy, hats off
That smiles is keeping me alive in lockdown

Steve, you're awesome!!! I wish I lived closer. Would love to have a cocktail party at your warehouse! 😂👍🤪

Question: How smiles back at the screen when Steve smiles while shaking the cocktail? Definitely I do...😂
Yep, very contagious smile.
yep everytime!
lol. I do to. Not even on purpose. :-D
Me too...😆
Definitely!
When he didn't smile during the rum drink shake :(
Really appreciate your stuff. Yours and “how to drink” are the only channels I watch for cocktails. Keep that cheesy smile when you shake drinks haha it’s awesome! Just made your cold toddy (gold rush) tonight in fact.

I Love His „Shake-smile“
It’s before 10 AM here in Canada, and I’m already thinking about my afternoon libation. Thanks for your inspiration Steve!
The adjusted frame is excellent! Hit the nail on the head
Thanks mate! Took me a while!! I do have a new Sigma lens on the way which will crop in a tiny bit more but should result in better image quality 🤞
15:24 😄He is getting the feels...
I love the way instintcly smiles everytime he shakes 😁
Gets me everytime 😁😁. Stay safe Steve
A drink a day keeps the corona away
😁😁😁
Every time he smiles it makes me smile
Thanks Steve! Even more ideas to try during these days. Lockdown is definitely making me drink more, may as well do it properly! Cheers from Scotland!
Tell me about it.. I’m trying to cut back but these videos are trouble! 😂
Love ALL your videos... love the big smile while shaking the drinks. You're fun to watch and I'm learning.
Great video, Steve! I was excited when you put out the ingredient survey and was not disappointed. Your daily videos are so refreshing on these monotonous quarantine days. Stay safe!
Thanks Lou! There was definitely some interesting suggestions, I’ll be doing this again for sure!!
That grin gets me every time, love it😂
I’m impressed that you were able to say Surfsidesips after all those cocktails! Well done!
The smile the shake, there is so much to like!
Thanks Steve really appreciate your time, we enjoy everyone one of them.
Steve’s smile when he shakes ..it’s so sweet.
His smile when he shakes the drink makes me blush...
Keep that smile goin man. That is the cherry on top of all these great videos. Thank you!
I appreciate that you keep things simple, straight forward & with out mystery...and also that you offer tips on other sub alcohols a person can use!
I like how he seems like he's trying to hold back, but he just can't... he just has to smile. lol Just lean into it, we all love it.
What an absolute gem of a channel. I love it!
Steve you so close to 300K keep it up!! And you r giving me tons of ideas!!
I know! Edging closer and closer!! What’s next on your channel David?
Watching you get tipsy as the video went on was the highlight. Your perfect, so shoutout to your wife being an excellent videographer.
Steve, you are my internet crush. 💛 Thank you for all your hard work- these drinks will certainly get us through this quarantine.
That shaking smile though....gives me hope in all this.
Smile and shake- gets me every time
Love how you shake the mixtures .😘👍
My recommendation of a 7 spirit chug was totally serious Steve! lol
Hmmm... 🤔
@@StevetheBartender_ I mean you are almost at 300k subscribers... Might have to go for it for 300k lol
The Bennet is AMAZING!! Thank you for that recipe I think this is my husband and my new favorite drink.
Steve! The Bennett is so delicious! Tried it this weekend I love your videos (and that accent!) Cheers. 😋
The smiles during the shaking has added years to my life
I really like your videos, it is clear and teaches me how to become a future bartender, I study at a hotel school and right now in quarantine your videos help. Greetings from the Czech republic! 🙂🍹
Every time you smile, it makes me chuckle! Your cocktails work pretty well too! ;-)
So pumped I learned about honey syrup from you. Amazing cocktail ingredient! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you !
That Bennett is my new favorite Gin cocktail !
Great videos mate. REally enjoyed!
A gold rush is a really nice honey cocktail too. It’s essentially a whisky sour with honey syrup. Nice 3 ingredients cocktail
Yer, I agree! I uploaded it a day or two ago: ua-cam.com/video/Sd_J_Oky-wU/v-deo.html
Just made the Bennett (Gimlet Riff) - tastebuds blown! Fantastic!
If I could like this twice I would! Great as always!
Much appreciated Nolan! 👍

God, that thing about the rosemary is so true. Every house I lived in in AU had rosemary bushes. Easy to grow, fragrant and useful I suppose.
I watch all your videos and I find them amazing and inspirational. I happened to also notice this is the only one thus far that you didn't smile while shaking the Outrigger! Threw me off for a second. Lol
Don't worry I got you covered I have everything you listed. I do believe most of use have a coffee at home as well. So have fun with milk and coffee.
Yer, I’ll redo something similar with some rule tweaking.. and include coffee for sure..
Mmm yes coffee
@@StevetheBartender_ I haven't seen a lot of tea cocktails around and many of us have tea at home as well. It'll be great if you can include that!
Coffe & vodka is great especially with whiskey cream
gurparkash singh sohi oh yes a tea syrup 😋
Loved this video, also love the bloopers🤣
I can’t with the smiles anymore. I don’t know if I like or hate them.
Seriously?? I think most of us look forward to his smile. It's charming
We started with the first drink last night and we loved the Vodka Collins Honey! Love the simplicity of these drinks!
This is a great show for today. Thanks for all you and your wife do for all of us. This time tomorrow you will be at 300,000 subs!!! Cheers!
Thanks PJ! So close to 300k!!
Can't wait to try the Honey Bee. Sounds delicious.
Thanks for including outtakes! Great ideas for quarantine !
I cannot wait for things to go back to normal to have a party and treat my friends with all these beautiful drinks.
Every time that smile when he is shaking the cocktails
Steve, would you ever give us a tour of the rest of your studio? Is this location your kitchen or somewhere else?
I believe he's already done a behind the scenes video and from what I know this studio is based in a corner of his storage warehouse.
It’s the corner of my warehouse.. it’s a mess in here so it’s wouldn’t really make a very interesting video 🤔
@@grumpasalty3859 Thank you. I was just curious.
Ginger highball is now my new iso drink. Super easy and it’s whiskey based!
Thanks Steve for your videos! Regards from the Dominican Republic our rums are quite good man
I just love the sound of you scooping the ice 😍
Music to my ears as well 😋

No worries Daniel.. although looking back on it, I was too focused on doing cocktails that I hadn't featured on the channel...
Loved it.. the honey sour is my fave. I give it 6 smiles out of 8.. Cheers
Thanks Steve...my stay-home weekend will be a cocktail weekend now :)
This is honestly my favorite channel
I LOVE your smile when you shake your cocktails 🥰 I'm just learning how to make cocktails and I love your videos! Great job 👍🏼
Love these videos...we did the Bennett and Outrigger tonight...both great, but loved the Bennett!
Could you do a video on garnishing? Like how to know what garnishes go with what style of drink.. or tips on bitters art?
Really appreciate videos like this! Creative and most look super delicious. Gonna try the gimlet variation soon!
Steve you should try sake cocktails or just some basic R&D. Love the content!

Nice one! Just don’t drink them all at once 😁
Awesome video once again. Glad to see the mint used in the video. Keep on keeping on.

Thanks mate.. I’ve never had stray shell or membrane so happy with the single strain 👌

The honey bee is amazing. Much better than a mai tai and so much more simple. I tried it with lime too and I think I like the lime variant better. Anyway, thanks for sharing. This one is in my simple cocktail arsenal for sure.

Thank you for bringing our hope back! Great video and now I know what I gonna drink tonight.
This is awesome! Thank you for all of your hard work! I'd be interested in a video where you utilize exotic or nontraditional food items in cocktails.
Loving this series! Continue with the amazing work Steve!
Steve, thanks for nice variation of famous cocktails!
