Welcome to the very first think tank episode of Gracious AI Radio!
As the future starts in our imagination, and our collective imagination is currently crowded with negative news about the future and AI taking over our jobs, our lives, and ultimately.... everything 👻, it’s time to steer course and imagine positive futures with AI - so that we can realize them.
In this episode, David Bassuk and I explore future worlds in which AI didn’t go rogue, but turned out gracious. We explore how through future-casting, world-building, storytelling, and narrative we can make these futures more tangible, and eventually materialize them with AI, VR and in the Metaverse. Together, we seek to guide the path of AI towards a brighter tomorrow by imagining how the future could be different. David shares his creative journeys from working in theatre to exploring the changing nature of storytelling in an age of trans-media and immersive storytelling.
