Red Headed Adventure Bike build part 1 TR650 Husqvarna

Introduction of new project scope for a 1,000 mile off road adventure. Choice of motorcycle is a like new Husqvarna TR650 2013.
Stay tuned to this channel for videos as I will be preparing and addressing the issues discussed here. There is a lot to do and there is not a lot of information on these odd models.
Help me make this challenging tour a reality! Contributions will be used on the preparation and upcoming group's tour! Plans are being made for late Spring / early Summer 2023

Sooo. How do you like my old bike? BTW I gave Chase all the take off parts inc.. the stock seat cover and foam. I still have the GPR titanium exh . I had on it .

I have just bought one of these the Terra version I have had a few other adventure bikes my latest was the ktm690 and I must say this tr650 has its pros over the ktm 1st it cruises on the highway so much better for those short stints, and the seating position is just better for long rides, the rear subframe can carry more weight cause the ktm is the fuel tank and a rack cost a kidney. yes, the shocks are not adjustable but getting the correct weighted springs and getting the valving done makes a massive difference. fuel consumption seems so much better than the ktm, I'm happy with the bike and hope you are. one other tip put a rubber band from the pillion peg to the center stand, hitting hard stuff offroad they tend to bounce down :)

I sent my ecu to husqvarna took 1 month but they sent it back and my bike runs sweet ;)

@@nu77byte49 great! The ECU for mine is in the post to Husqvarna dealer at this moment. I will be putting some new videos up on this bike in the new year. Thanks for the info
