1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

My biggest fear came from Christian beliefs. Sure, God cares for me and loves me, but if I disobey his commands, he will torture me in hell for eternity. Thanks no thanks, Jesus.

I know what triggers me it's some or something that gets me very upset and it sets off a panic attack. I have learned to do Mindfulness-base stress reduction breathing, I do it when I start to fell anxious and I do it nightly to have a more restful sleep.💕 I started your video series on Sunday.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻thanks for sharing I have been through a severe anxiety and panic attacks with the same symptoms and even more. I tried to stop them by myself but I couldn’t it only got worse until I surrendered everything to Jesus to come to my rescue. I had a dream to use the cross of Jesus Christ which is the throne of grace and Bible quotations to resist the devil who is the cause of all fears. Our God is So good He has not given us the spirit of fear but power, love and a sound mind. Jesus Christ is the only God who rebukes the devourer,He is our God and redeemer. The best physician ever who can do what doctors can’t do ... He is the everlasting God who never fails.
    Jesus never disappoints.Hallelujah!!!

Of course, stress, anxiety, panic attacks are good things. They are our friends, our allies. They are "fire alarms", They tell you "you are doing something wrong. You have to make some changes in your life in order to stay healthy". Thanks!

sAmuel fLores sAnchez ... they r our allies when they r in their limits but when they cross their limits then u dont need an enemy.

    • @thecrazyandthewild
      @thecrazyandthewild 6 років тому +7

First, this is only my opinion and I don't trait to convince you or anyone. I can be wrong. This is my experience with anxiety and panics attacks, what I discovered that works for me.
When they are on their limits we don't call it anxiety, or panic attacks. Enemies exist only in our minds, they don't really exist, are creations of our ego.
Panic attacks are the last resort our body has to tell us to change the behaviors that are going to kill us, his last cry for help. If the body can't release that energy in Panic Attack form, that energy is going to create a major physical problem. We have to feel great about having a Panic Attack, the body is giving us another opportunity before collapse itself, the body is fighting for us
      .
When you think in Panic Attack as an enemy, you lock yourself looking for protection, you have fear of the enemy. And that is what creates the Panic Attack, anxiety feeds in your fear, if you don't have fear, you can't possibly have a panic attack.
It takes me time and a lot of attacks to reach this point. You need experience and "training" So this information I just gave cannot be very useful for persons who just have his first Panic attacks. Is like trying to teach algebraic computation to someone who just started to learn mathematics.
In my case when I suffer PA first time I went to the hospital and they drug me. Drugs take the PA but so my energy an optimism and will to live. So I drop the medication and fight the panic attacks on my own.
Over the years I learn all that things I say above. And I train myself during PA to not offer any resistance, total acceptation. That's the way. When you think on PA like your ally and savior, when you ask sincerely for more, when you lose completely your fear, you drop all your resistances and the PA goes through you without doing any damage.
Is not easy, I don't say that is easy. When I began to "accept" (and when I say accept I say willing to accept death if it comes. I talked to my PA "Come on, give me your best shot. Kill me if you can), to drop my resistance, to not do anything that can relieve me (like running), simply lay and relax, the level of craziness in my mind was really scary. I remember me thinking "there's no way my brain is going to be ok tomorrow, there's no way it doesn't have substantial physical damage at this point. I'm going to be crazy or incapacitated all my life". That was scary, and the fear perpetuates the cycle, the Panic Attacks. Like I said, you have to awake in the morning and see for yourself that your brain is ok and that all the craziness wasn't in the end really dangerous, you have to realize that you were safe the whole time. And the next time you are better prepared and don't give up so easily on fear and the response is better until one day you really don't have fear and when the first symptoms appear yo focus your attention on them without fear, only observing, and you experience your PA vanishing without doing you any damage.
In that moment you understand that PA are one of the best things that have happened to you in your life. They help you overcome fear, and a life with fear is not a healthy one. Fear is the cause of almost all the disorders your body have. Anxiety, stress, they damage your bacterial fauna, for example. The body is so complex, a little change in the bacterial level can create some serious malfunctions.
Anxiety is not a disease, is something we build over the years with harmful behaviors and heal it require work and time too. One pill doesn't do the trick, apart from the momentary "dope-relieve", what medication thas in these cases is taken away from your body his way of communication.
I extended myself so much. I want to emphasize that I don't say medication is bad. Sometimes, like when the problem is here and is big because we were feeding it with our harmful behavior over the years, and we don't have understanding nor the experience to deal with that, is necessary so to save our lives. I say that medication is not a permanent solution, only a temporary patch. It has to be used cleverly. Dealing with the problem for ourselves is the only thing that can not only heal but improve us.
I hope my English is readable :)

I find interesting what you are saying: Panic attacks are good things, these are alarms to let us know we are doing something wrong. So, when we have panic attacks that appear in many places : when I go to buy food, when I go to the park with my son, when I take the tram, and so on... What is wrong in those cases? (I think that what's wrong is our way of thinking, and that the P. A. IS TELLING US that: your thinking is unhelpful )... Do you think this is the case. Would like to hear what people think?
      Many thanks. 🙂

Sit down with pen and paper, look at your feelings write them down. Look at the feelings, ask what is behind them? For example behind anger is often fear, ask why? Find out what is it you are afraid of losing, maybe the good opinion of others? Why is that so important? Is it because of lack of self worth? Is this because of your upbringing? Could it be negative thinking? What attitude is causing the feeling? Can it be changed? I found out in doing this I found the root causes of all my problems. Instead of running from my feelings or distracting I faced and felt them. Good luck.

It is all in the mind. The most effective and permanent way to get rid of anxiety is meditation the best being the free Vipaasna meditation practiced all around the world and maybe in your country.. Meditation reprogrames the mind. For a start sit on a chair with eyes closed and be still focusing on the breath for 10 minutes early morning and night. Only focus on the incoming and outgoing breath. Increase slowly to 30 minutes. A lot of thoughts will come but slowly negative thoughts will reduce. . Continue practice daily-a lot of determination is needed.

Awesome! but how do i solve my unsolved pain during my childhood? verbal, sexual, mental, and physical abuse? not just from people outside my home, but also from my family as well? i developed low self esteem because when i was child, all i could hear from some of my siblings was, i am a shame to my our family because i am gay/homosexual. i was not trained to do household chores, therefore i am now a lazy 50 yo man, who is not confident coz i dunno how to cook food, or even fix damages in out bathroom or kitchen pipes. im a nurse who is afraid to talk to the doctors because i see them as my older brothers and cousins, who verbally and physically abused me when i was a child. i know i am smart and talented, but i get nervous each time i go to work coz i worry about what they will think of the quality of my work. i have fear of driving on a highway, fear of heights, fear of flights. and all these, lead me to suffer depression.... there's a lot to address and process to solve my unsolved pain or unresolved conflict or issues.. hope you can help me with these... thanx and God bless...

I will pray for you. Sometimes the "enemy " trys yo make you feel anxiety even in church or anywhere. Say ,"Get behind me Satan!!", and Jesus will deliver you. Also there are many reasons for anxiety and stress. Wither its bad experiences, trauma, abuse etc etc. Buy a notebook or journal and make a gratitude book. Talk about what you are grateful for. What you need to do in life, anxiety, sadness, release it on the paper, draw, right a poem etc, etc. Make sure you pray after and before. Then leave your worries with God and Jesus and let the Holy Spirit guide you. He is with us. He will never leave us or forsake us!!🙏🙏💜💜😇
