ELVIS CAN SING ANYTHING WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL VOICE ❤❤❤
can he sing a change is gonna come by Sam Cook?
Top ten for me!👑✌️
Great song
I've always liked this song
1969 was elvis's artistic peak. His studio session were just amazing that year
Vocal perfection 👌
No wonder they call him the king,is there no end to his talent.
both albums are masterpieces
Love your reaction to this one, Seph. His gorgeous voice, oh my!
Great job, Seph. I love the masculine tone of his voice in this one. Gives me the shivers. This is a golden album. Elvis is a master at these storytelling songs.❤❤❤
Magnificent Elvis, he sounds so powerful singing this ballad. Awesome triple banger for me!!! Loved your reaction Seph 👍❤
Epic album, Epic voice, epic song, just so freakin' beautiful the way he sings this. There was a lot of great music in 1970, this was as good anything from that year.
Wow, such a great powerful song! ELVIS could sing anything! Love your reaction!
Top Notch both Elvis and Seth🎸
Double banger for me
I like it that you are playing some of the lesser known songs because there are some really great ones out there!!!❤❤❤❤
No arguments from me Seph, yes easily a double banger. Not an ordinary song anyway, while Elvis lifts it to even greater 'heights'. Must be a cert for many fans playlists.
This is such a great album. Elvis breaking loose and doing lots of new stuff and doing it darn well. From a Jack to a King is a banger on this album. I called my father Daddy until he passed at age 89.
Ooo Elvis voice. You are so good Seph 💕
I called My Father Daddy til the day He passed away!!!! I do notice some don't - I guess it just depends I thought maybe it was a Southern thing but not sure - Gorgeous Gorgeous SONG!!! His "CRY" And that RASPY RAW Voice!!!! *PERFECTION* Thanks Darling *SEPH* SO Enjoy your reactions!!!!!! Much Love to you x Hugs Tonya 🤗🤗🤗🤗💞💞💞💞💕💕💕😘😘😘😆🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
No hon, not just a southern thing. I am from up north and I called my mother mama and my father daddy until they died when I was in my 20's. I still called them that when talking about them to my sister and she also calls them the same. All of my siblings in fact. You are right, I guess it depends on the family? I LOVE his cry! He had all of it and more!
@@nycsue Yes I do believe it depends on the Family!! My Daddy called His Dad Daddy and Mom Momma and so on with My Grandparents - I am so sorry about your Loss Of Your Daddy!! I Lost Mine 3 Years ago to Covid He was 73 - Huge Elvis Fan - Yes His CRY !!!! NEVER WILL THERE BE ANOTHER MAN / ENTERTAINER THAT CAN EVEN COMPARE TO OUR ELVIS HUGS
Lovely 🔥🔥🔥
Very underrated song can't wait till Elvis version of Rags to Riches 1970
Yay - a double banger we are back !!! Ah such a beautiful song just love it - Elvis was physically and vocally at his prime at this time in his career and life ⭐⭐
Those Memphis tracks were so good. The artistry of his career. It's actually very unusual type of Elvis song it could be a take from the movie "Inherit the Wind" which was not one of his movie's but a 50's movie with Rock Hudson and Dorothy Malone. Not sure, but good. Thanks Seph.
I’ve always loved his voice in this song! So beautiful!
To Sammy the Coolest, thank you Darlin for that link. I went immediately to it. Inherit the Wind sounded different here, less emotional, I suppose because he concentrated on remembering the words, and yet it stirred an emotion that I couldn’t describe, (As Elvis often does). Funny how it hits you at the most unexpected moments. He speaks to the audience as though they are family and apologizes in advance for an unrehearsed song. You hold your breath for him while anticipating. Through his vulnerability, you realize that he has just gifted you with a rare and beautiful moment. That’s when I realized much of his appeal…his vulnerability that makes you want to save him from any environment that could hurt him. Odder yet, is to take on the sense that is exactly what he is trying to do for you. I love at the end when he says “Nothing like shaking up the troups”. Lovely, lovely man! 🥰
To Seph, I adore you for sharing your musical experiences with him, calling on us to hear better, his inflections, his tones, his range and yes, his accent. It’s all even better with you.❤️
I hope she sees this!!
@taylorkingston9197 From here on in I am going to start looking for your comments 😊👍
You are most humbly welcome and it is my absolute pleasure!
I have tons of Elvis performances.
Some I have yet to listen to- haha!
There is just not enough time in the day, but I do try to make time for Elvis and too for Seph and his reactions lol.
🎶Have A Happy🎶 Sunday to you & yours Taylor ⚡💖✌🙏💕
Love his growling voice in this. There’s a video in later years when his father had heart surgery and after he recovered, Elvis called him up on the stage and he called him daddy and got a chair for him. It was the sweetest thing. No embarrassment or trying to show off. He called him daddy and that’s the way it was. It was so endearing, it made me love him even more. His died barely 2 years after Elvis passed. He gave a quick interview from CBS thanking everyone for the cards, letters and gifts sent. He was in his office with a sea of letters around him. This was approximately one year after he died and he looked and sounded awful. Oddly the last person to die was Vernon’s mom who was the oldest of them all. She lived with them for years. Elvis took care of her and would sit with her and talk & put Lisa Marie on her lap in the bed. Px were so cute. Anyway I digress. Love this song but once again, Elvis’s voice makes it. 👍🏻😁😁❤️❤️
I really like this song, one of my favourites on the album ❤
Have you reacted to the 1970 live version of “make the world go away”? It’s a great one, sung with passion like only Elvis can.
Hopefully when he gets to 1970 he will react to the live version, it's a must see, so much better than the recording ❤
Everything elvis is on my list. Just don't know when its coming up as i dont sort out my own list 📃😅 im a bit lazy when it comes to list making haha
My friend is a freakin legend for making it for me 😀
Inherit the wind
Baby don't fall in love with me
I'll only bring you grief
Baby, don't set your heart on me
I'll only have to leave
'Cause the north wind flows through my veins
Like my dad there's a dream in my brain
In the morning I'll have to leave again
That's how it is when you inherit the wind
Inherit the wind
Daddy, he was a traveling man
I hardly knew his face
Momma, she cried for him at night
He never stayed in one place
'Cause the north wind flows through my veins
Like my dad there's a dream in my brain
In the morning I'll have to leave again
That's how it is when you inherit the wind
Inherit the wind
Oh I can't give you the love you need
I just won't be here that long
But if you still want me here tonight
I'll love you till the break of dawn
'Cause the north wind flows through my veins
Like my dad there's a dream in my brain
In the morning I'll have to leave again
That's how it is when you inherit the wind
Inherit the wind
Inherit the wind, inherit the wind

Fantastic song....on my daily Elvis playlist 💯⚡❤️
3, 3, 4. it was a count in. A sort of cue for Elvis to come in.
I am not surprised you love this one Seph!
Fun fact: The same guy that wrote this song also wrote "Kentucky Rain" and in fact it was Elvis who got the guy recognized as a legitimate songwriter in Nashville.
Plot twist: Eddie Rabbitt was actually born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. So yeah. A Brooklyn native became a recognized American country songwriter and singer throughout his career.
But more on Mr. Rabbitt later though.
I will leave a link to his full bio. It's very, very long. (No "That's what she said," comments please. I get that all the time these days.)

@cherylspencer8024 I left a link on one of Seph's previous 1969 reactions to a video of Elvis in 1969 Las Vegas being secretly filmed by a fan in the crowd (8MM). I can't remember which one currently. But there is fan film footage Miss Cheryl.
Ah yes. The Black Herringbone Suit. Fun Fact: The Black silk lining of the top had black on black silk 👑 print on it. I watched Angie Marchese on one of those GoG videos. (YT Gods are very fickle with me. That is as specific I can get here so my apologies.)
But anyway I agree that Elvis being filmed professionally in 1969 would have been 🍒 on the 🍧😉
Hope your week is 🎶rolling on a river🎶, a calm river that is Miss Cheryl 😀👍
@cherylspencer8024 From what I have read, Parker did not want to take any chances that Elvis's "return to the stage" wouldn't have a great turn out or reception.
Parker did not really have any faith in or understanding of Elvis as an artist and performer. From what I have read Parker was actually not a fan of some of the music Elvis recorded, such as Blues and American Folk.
Parker was not at all a fan of Elvis's music in the 1950's. He didn't understand why people seemed to like it so much. It was not to his taste at all.
Parker understood money. He understood that peoples' reactions to Elvis was an opportunity to make money.
Now Parker did do some good for Elvis in the beginning.
But at a certain point Parker was more in the business of Elvis than he was to represent his client's best interests. And it would have been very good for Elvis to go on a European tour if not a global tour at this time in his career.
But that never happened and it is what it is.
But overall Parker's interest was to make money. But Parker was also not one to take chances when it came to Elvis.
He only liked to take chances when it came to the gaming tables in Vegas.
And that is a whole other topic entirely.
@cherylspencer8024 Ohhh! You have to listen to this! "Rubberneckin'" live 1969 Las Vegas, only time performed live: ua-cam.com/video/Z9Aajb1Ha1A/v-deo.htmlsi=hVlU33JbAJWU3NXR
It is SOOO good!
OK! I love eddie Rabbitt now and i dont even know the guy xD
@@SephPlays Well if you are interested Seph here is a link to Eddie Rabbitt albums, the best that I could find online with lists and date releases: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Rabbitt_discography
Decent song. Quality song. But it's not a song I listen to by choice. I'll put it in the bottom half of his library. These 1969 sessions are great. For the first time in his career, Elvis went deep into the country genre with a touch of blues and pop. Elvis always mixed genre. Elvis was not at his vocal peak. It's not 1962. You can hear the weakness in his voice when he has to reach or extend some notes. But he's the greatest singer of all-time so he was the best even when he was not at his best.
Really, along the side of "Hey, Hey,Hey" and "Dominick"?!
@@timcarr6401 No sir. They would be in the bottom 25-30 with "Take Good Care of Her", "Old MacDonald." "Inherit the Wind" is more like 300-400 range.
@@MarkRogersVOCFB Ib was ready to agree with you. But since you lumped TGCOH with OM I will rescind my offer.
I’ve always loved his voice in this song! So beautiful!
