The “fire-breathing guitar hero” as he was dubbed by the U.S. press, launched his successful solo career two years ago after decades of accompanying Latin music giants such as Bunbury, Calamaro, El Cigala, and others. He has achieved major accomplishments in the last couple years: memorable albums such as his latest, PACHUCO and ARGENTINE SONGBOOK (Warner Music), and has toured Spain, Mexico, America from South to North and other parts of the world. EL TWANGUERO has received excellent reviews and become an International Gibson and Bigsby artist.
TWANGUERO presents the PACHUCO show with his band: rhythm, percussion, seductive melodies as well as electrifying riffs and solos, AND the one and only touch of his golden Gibson, pioneer of ‘Latin-Twang”. He also has an important career as a guitar concertist.
Pachuco refers to a particular old school subculture of Latino Americans from the 1930’s - the 1950’s associated with zoot suits, and vibrant, flamboyant nightlife. Originating in Mexico, Pachuco eventually made its way to El Paso, Texas. Hence, El Paso became known to many as “El Chuco .” Pachuco was also an important part of the young Mexican-American culture in the 1950’s.

El “prócer de la guitarra” como fue apodado por la prensa norteamericana, obtuvo su primer guitarra a los 6 años y ha lanzado su carrera solista hace dos años -después de acompañar a grandes como Bunbury, Calamaro, El Cigala, Urrutia, entre otros-. Y ha cosechado grandes logros: Discos memorables comoPACHUCO y Argentina Songbook (Warner Music), giras por España y América de Sur a Norte, excelentes críticas de prensa, y convertirse en Artista Internacional Gibson y Bigsby, entre otras cosas.
En 2015 Twanguero presenta PACHUCO: ritmo, percusiones, melodías seductoras, y el toque único de su vieja Gibson dorada, el pionero del Twang Latino.
Diego tiene una particularidad para tocar la guitarra que trasciende su virtousismo: ELEGANCIA.

I read that your acoustic guitar is plugged into a Schertler Giulia Amp.
However, what "Brand" or type of Acoustic Pickup is installed in that guitar?
Is it an Undersaddle (UST); a Soundboard Transducer (SBT); a combination of either a UST or SBT, also with an internal condenser microphone system?
Curious minds want to know.

Hola Aitor! La guitarra está enchufada a un amplificador Schertler Giulia y el micro capta lo que suena en la sala. Es decir...lo único que va a linea es el micro. Gracias

¿Qué modelo de guitarra está utilizando en esta toma? Soy guitarrista de fingerpicking y estoy detrás de la guitarra idónea para conseguir mejor tono. ¡Suena de escándalo con "Windy & warm"!
