Happy to see this vid pop through my feed. Hoping to find that Embryo as well, I really like what Waldron adds to their sound. Pretty lovely. Burchette's story is super strange and interesting. Don't know if you looked into him at all but was quite successful selling his records direct to consumers and to the new age market throughout the 70s. Then he reportedly burned all his records, instruments and everything at the start of the 80s. Sort of went into a political spin I think. Definitely cult music. I dug that Hyrdoplane! and loved seeing the intro with whats been happening in your life. Cheers james!
Liked everything I heard and saw. I'm going to look for Joe Kaptein (sp?) and Hydroplane.. I have an original of the first Master Wilburn and would like to get more. Nice to hear Galaxie 500. Always a favorite.
Silly amounts, approx $50USD give or take! Yeah I think the first 30 seconds of the first track has a hip hop beat to it and that’s such a tenuous link.
Fascinating video, most of the albums I actually haven't heard.
Great selections & suggestions. Love the "Notes" art & thank you for reminding me about Hydroplane.
Excellent video, my friend. We, the Jazz lovers, love that "The Quest" of Mal Waldron. Happy new year from Madrid, Spain. 🎷

Bradford City FC is what you'd call a "deep cut" for sure! What made you start following them? Great video as usual!
ha that record couldn't sound less like dj shadow-- damn hype stickers. what are they selling those craft reissues for down there?
