There has to be some documentes with archaeological department or the muzrai which has taken over all the temples. If Kempegowda inscription is there, does it means no onelse ruled after he was defeted by Shahaji ? Well, the markets have Cikkpet, Akkipet, Baleepet ( pet is Marathi word for market & in Kamnada it is pete ) were named by Shahaji. Later Venkoji / Ekoji elder step brother of Shivaji ruled Bangalore, Kadu Malleshwara temple in Malleshwaram which is in centre of the city. Karnataka / Bangalore has large number of Marathi people who came along with Shaji while serving under Adil Shaha of Bijapur ! The 4 watch towers have the same architecture as the gopura of Kadu Malleshwara !
soon after my pooje i saw yr vedeo thank u so much though i go atleast once aweek to chickpet i didnot know this temple there are similar very old temples one jalakanteshwara temple in city market where theres is a fish and also koorma (ame) below which we meditate if fish beckons downwards there is water underneath there is chokkanatha vishnu temple in domlur where there ate 8 energy points for 8 chakras you must visit them
