Using AI in the artwork was a intentional choice and part of the narrative, a portrayal of the times we live in, where systems and cycles collapse, and the world as we knew is transforming.We wanted to incorporate AI into the song in some way, its rise has begun to reshape our perception and in many ways making us question whats real.
It felt more natural to use AI-processed images in the artwork than to incorporate it in to the music. There are original designs the scenes tho, but using AI to make variations to create the stop motion effect felt like the right way to incorporate it.
But with that said, the song has multiple layers and a lot of hidden symbolism, a reflection of our time. Its length hints at this, mirroring a year passing by. A tribute to a time we may never experience again.
