Yess. I watched tht @konarck wheel:(@new York square:) 15th August.
I shed tears on several occasions while watching this podcast because I found a personal connection to every aspect discussed about the dynamics in Punjabi households when it comes to food. Chef Vikas' heartfelt expression of his relationship with his sister was particularly moving. This ranks among the finest podcasts ever. Thank you, Ranveer. 🙂
Never knew such an emotional person he is plus how knowledgeable..just wow ..and first podcast of Ranveers which brought tears in my eyes ..
His humbleness never ceases to amaze you...he is a gem
Vikas Khanna is a pride for us. He has a very strong EQ and IQ. How he processes his experience and passion is amazingly intelligent

Being an Odia, it gives immense proud and pleasure, Thank you Vikash sir for everything❤❤
One of the best podcasts I've ever listened in my life. Not even exaggerating. The way Vikas described his life, his emotion for food just amazed me. Each and every word of his just came from heart and made me emotional. Lots of love and respect for Vikas❤
This guy deserves a biopic. I swear on god this is the best podcast so far.

I'm from odisha, and I'm really happy that the whole world is knowing about odia cuisine ❤
I am 52 years old never seen such a wonderful pod cast. I am crying. God bless both of you.
Listening to him was like doing a meditation...Cried and laughed both in this episode. He is emitting such divine light through his persona, perspective and words. Just cant get over this episode. @ranveer, this was the 1st episode where I was loving the answers so much more than the questions. 1st time ever i was not looking at you but i was engrossed in Sir Vikas Khanna's elegance. Thankyou so much Ranveer for bringing this episode in our lives❤
Yessss...u conveyed through rt words exactly wat I felt

The lines "They are so satisfying just doing their food and its between their ppl and god " melted my heart.. felt blessed i grown up in such a underrated place ❤

Is there a person more emotional than Vikas Khanna? One thing I noticed was how he kept smiling throughout his narration of his dark experiences. Such an emotional human being and yet no sign of tears or sadness during the entire conversation, interesting and impressive.
Wow he totally took me with surprise. He’s so humble and kind.”Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." - Mark Twain
Such an apt line 😊
why do I feel this episode wil hit all other Dar ke aage jeet series...the way Mr.khanna's honesty makes u stay streaming 😐 can feel connected with his talk 😊
👍👏👏
Very real person. He is so successful, yet, so humble, proud of India , making India popular on the world level. Down to earth, you want to know him, listen to him and believe in him. He is us, a messenger of Indian culture and heritage. Bless him. Ranveer, lot of love to you.
omg! times that I sobbed hearing this podcast was uncountable. He is so touchy and soft at heart that he touches yours.
As a NCC cadet, I was honored to welcome Mr. Vikas Khanna in our university with a guard of honor.
Safe to say, this is the best podcast I've witnessed. How can a chef talking about food make you so emotional is beyond me.
Agree
This person is just so cute❤️he is very emotional....generally people disregard people who are really emotional...they just make fun of them and makes a perspective that they can't do anything just because they are emotional but this man prooved that being emotional is not bad.....it just makes you a real human and that line which says 'protect your heart' just brought tears to my eyes...... ❤First podcast in which I cried like I am healing through this whole conversation
At first, I though this would be a boring food-related episode, but the moment I started listening I just can't explain how 'wholesome' this episode feels from the moment you start to listen till the end. Respect for both of you has increased. I really liked this.🥰
Damn! Such a heavy podcast. Learnt so so much. Especially that line, “You need to put an expiration date on your scars” made me realise a lot of things. He is such a gem of a person, so much to learn from his enriching experiences.
I agree, he looked and talked like a Saint.
I agree
Soooo true
I'm from Pakistan...I love all your podcasts but this podcast is on another level. Chef Vikas's positive vibes can be experienced through his documentaries and ofcourse Masterchef India. I love this exceptional person inside out. May Allah Almighty blesses him n you, Ranveer....always. You r a cutie pie. Stay blessed ❤
Same ❤❤❤❤❤
I really love that line: Skin of an elephant and the heart of a poet. Its a beautiful line and we all should follow the same and we make this world filled with respect and love.
This is such a beautiful podcast. Have met Vikas Khanna personally in Singapore. He is so down to earth, came especially to meet all the people at the restaurant and sat with us and chatted so much. Spoke so polietly with my mom in Punjabi. Can never forget this experience of how humble he is and that is the secrect that he is so loved by everyone ofcourse he is a great chef too ❤❤
Vikas Khanna sounds so gentle, elegant and humble. It is unimaginable that a man who has reached such great heights is still so down-to-earth and intelligent.
Vikas Khanna is a gem thanks Ranveer for doing this ❤❤🫶🏻🫶🏻
My pleasure ❤
@@RanveerAllahbadiaYou're also a gem 🤩
On TRS this s the first ever podcast which stole my heart. What a gem of a peron he is😢...never seen any one so emotional and family oriented love for his sister n grandma..omg he is diamond❤
One of the most heartwarming and emotional interviews I have ever seen. Vikash is such an inspiration. When he spoke about loosing his sister I cried. He never let his disappointments phase him. When he talks about food its like a kid in a toyshop, full of excitement and wonder. ❤
Met Vikas Khanna at Junoon in 2016. He came out of the kitchen to greet us, touched my parents feet and chatted with us. So humble & inspiring ! Hope to meet him again soon. Love from New York ❤
I have met Vikas Khanna a couple of times - he is an excellent human being, artist when it comes to kitchen things and a crazy film maker too
I have cried so much in this podcast. Love this man. Such a touching podcast. So many leadership lessons, life lessons . ❤
Y did u cry?
As an immigrant in London who is facing similar difficulties. I salute this man. He is so inspiring and gives me hope for the future. I also am a big fan of Indian food and I eat Indian food everyday because I cook it everyday! My love for Indian food has gotten deeper since I moved to the uk. I also have celiac disease and I realise that Indian food mostly is gluten free and such a good option for celiacs and gluten intolerant people because of millets in our diet. Thank you chef vikas for sharing your story. Jai Jagannath ❤️
Even being highly successful, he is so humble and down to earth. Love his personality even more after this podcast.
I am one of your silent supporters (who never comments) but this podcast was on another level, full of emotions and flavour. The energy of this podcast was so pure. loved it so much.
55:51 jain cooking is supreme🙌
You will never feel heavy😌😌
It's really true 😄❤
Honestly! what a refreshing conversation 💖 the way he talks about family and all his struggles! Massive respect sir!
*I'm basically from UP but from the past 15 years living in odisha, and i feel so blessed to know it's culture, people, food, festivals like Rajo, kali puja season and of course it's commendable to say how government handles cyclone every single year,
Now I feel more than grateful to live, to know odisha this much and my love for odisha and it's culture has increased so much that i considered it to be my second home. Thank you Chef for recognising this, Jay Jaggananth* 🥰✨❤😌
😢 really
And we odias are in grief because of the cultural pollution influenced from outsiders ..it's hard but true bro😢
I'm just amazed at the resilience of Chef Vikas Khanna and how he overcame all the challenges he faced.
For the all assamese people he speaks about assamese food on 1:41:46
Every successful person mostly have painful story. We must respect them.
Ohh man, the intensity, the perspective, the way he expressed to embrace the heritage of Bharat as a blessings and stand for it to take the pride. Also the siblings love! The best! The roller coaster of emotions.
Being an Odia from Cuttack, it's truly heartwarming to hear the great chief speak fondly of our native place. The way he passionately talks about "KANIKA MAHAPRASAD" i also feel the exactly same way. His mention of the "Jay Jagannath" posts reflects the cherished saying in Odisha. There is a folktale about this is 'Jab tak Jagannath ji ki dori na laga ho tab tak tum kitna vi kosish karlo nahi ja paoge PURI. Aur jab dori laga hoga tab kahi hi per vi ho tumhe vi pata nahi hoga ki kese pahnch gaye puri 🙂' . Grateful for the positive sentiments shared about our culture and traditions.
JAI JAGANNATH 🙏🙏🙏
Loved this episode. I love Vikas Khanna because I felt this side of him always and I got to see it now. Felt emotional throughout the conversation and dropped a tear or two. Thanks for bringing him on the show and please bring him back again!!
While TRS has had so many brilliant episodes over the years, for me this is the best one I have ever seen. I am an emotional personal myself, and seeing 2 emotionally charged people having such a wonderful discussion brought tears to my eyes on several occasions. Simply wonderful👌👌 Vikas Ji is a real inspiration🙏
Wow..he is so down to earth and a complete package of inspiration for everyone... talking about Banaras, Maa Ganga, life and struggle & achivement...The way he talks about India and how he representing India right now and for future investing plans...so much motivation 👍😊👏👏
I smiled and cried many times throughout the podcast. I love him and I am sure you all do. He put Indian Chefs and cuisines on the map and still so humble and grounded. Best thing about him is his smile and his emotional nature. I can write more but I would just say a big thank you TRS for this episode !

This episode is so wholesome, it's like a warm hug on a chilly winter morning, the way he talks and describes a moment, he actually takes you there with him. He is a experience on his own.

One of the most enriching, humble, real life related conversations I heard. It's a chance to see a whole new dimension of Chef Vikas Khanna. Very very good to hear.
Mr. Ranveer, is truly something special. Every guest seems to open up and share their stories in a genuine way. Mr. Ranveer possesses qualities that go beyond just hosting; perhaps, he creates an atmosphere where authenticity flourishes.
A noble person, a beautiful soul.. Honest, candid and transparent.. I loved chef Vikas for expressing so well and letting us know his personal experiences. Great Guest and a Great podcast ❤❤

Love this podcast ! I m a Punjabi and a fusion home cook ! Vikas Khanna ‘s passion is what we need to show the world ! I live outside India and have great exposure to different foods .. but only a true artist like him can build this for the Indians ! We are truly an undiscovered land !
I had the chance to meet Chef Vikas Khanna once because a friend of mine knew him and saw that he was shooting in the hotel, I tagged along with the friend though I had no interest in meeting him 🤐, Chef Vikas Khanna had worked very briefly with her during an event, but he remembered her and hugged her... She introduced me to him and he was so sweet and gave a warm hug to me too... Wow , I was just blown away with his humility and soft nature..He is very sweet person.. God bless him !!

Wonderful podcast. Never saw a successful person being so humble, patriotic and with immense sensitivity along with deeply rooted family values. He’s blessed that he’s such a successful person with such great qualities. It’s a rare combo. 👌👌 one of the rare podcasts that ranveer didn’t talk abt Tantra or Rajarishi Nandy ji 😃
He said it so right . Our people feel proud to say we love western cuisine. Honestly there is no comparison with Indian cuisine. Our cuisine is the Best . Absolutely right French food is not at all tasty . We had gone to Paris and honestly we didn’t enjoy French food except few pastries.
Me beaming with pride when he mentioned ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS.......being south Indian from islands I can say you can get best south Indian food here
He is one the best person I ever seen . As Ranveer said he is very emotional ( although he talks less ) i feel the same
