Hiya, I’m a bit late to asking a question 😅 but first I wanted to say that you look great! And secondly... is it all the same for men? Thirdly, can you continue to work out after having the surgery in time?

Hello, firstly I’d like to say congratulations on your weight loss success and your bravery for sharing your story.
I’m at the stage of researching and shopping around for clinics to have a sleeve done, after an NHS consultation, last week, where they told me it’s a 3 year wait and really extreme programme of qualifying, even though I already meet the criteria and need the procedure to curb existing health issues and prevent additional ones 🙄
I’m 45 and have had this massive weight problem for 20 years and just feel like I’m at the point of no return. I want my life back before it’s too late.
I have lots of questions about before and after but don’t seem to be able to gain enough info from the websites or testimonials.
I, like you, have made my decision but I just need some more answers to things that seem to get missed in a lot of vlogs.

Good evening Charmaine, I’ve just seen your comment on this you tube video, I’m booked in for my surgery in Turkey next Tuesday the 22/3, I saw that you recently had your surgery there, firstly l hope everything went well, was it all as you expected and as described by your clinic, or is there anything that I should be aware of ie hidden costs and charges, thanks in advance if you’re kind enough to answer.

I've read that the gastroscopy and surgery are not usually done on the same day. A tiny number of gastroscopy procedures will identify problems preventing surgery. It is good that an IV drip is used for hydration after surgery.
Maya Whittaker they wouldn’t have done the surgery had that been the case. The surgeon has done thousands of these so I knew I was in good hands.

Hey, thanks for sharing your journey and being so honest. My questions are, we’re u allowed to wear your bra and knickers for the operation? I’m booked in to have it in June and I’m panicking that I won’t be able to wear my knickers, which I think sound ridiculous. Did u also have to drink liquids before u went? I’ve been told it’s 1 week but I’m not sure that’s enough as I’ve ally of weight to lose. Thanks

Oh I’m so jealous and so desperate to do this! How do you stop losing weight? I mean in that you say that you’ve a few stone to go until you’re done...how do you stop?
Well, as you get lighter, you need fewer calories. The weight loss slows down (usually after the first year). If it became an issue, you could eat more snacks to boost calories, but it usually just evens out.
I have my surgery planned for this March but got moved because of covid I have a question did you go through the stall phases too
Kulsum Fatima not really. I don’t weigh myself often but haven’t noticed any stalls. It is common though. The key is to look at the big picture as your body is adjusting
