    I was impressed by the presentations of the "magic" of the laws of physics and the meticulous craftsmanship. A most entertaining video. I would still like to know what took ten years, as stated in the headline. Thanks.

      They've used the headline repeatedly as click-bait.

      Well if it DID take 10 yrs of using clickbait, then the statement is true. Which makes it not clickbait.Which makes the statement false again. Which makes it clickbait again...The perpetual motion paradox?

      Finding out how much clickbait is the right amount. These thumbnails are getting absurd.

    0:56 this thing really works. I built a Bismuth levitator myself 10 years ago. The little magnet just keeps floating for years and years, not touching anything. It doesn't require any power.
    You can spin the magnet and it will keep spinning for quite a long time, eventually stopping the rotation due to eddy currents and air friction. But it will levitate indefinitely. This does not violate energy conservation and it's not perpetual motion either, just passively stable levitation. Really fascinating physics gadget.

    • @filipdominec9604
      @filipdominec9604 5 місяців тому

      Likewise, you can get a piece of pyrolytic carbon and it will levitate above a a bunch of neodymium magnets without any further tricks.
