2016 Camaro 2SS 0-60 Bloopers

Morning 0-60 testing bloopers.
Temp was 54, elevation was 1860 feet. Car is a stick with 6.2L V8 and 8 gear automatic transmission. Both 0-60 tests was on Track mode and competitive mode with traction control off. Asphalt was a little damp.
First pass I didn’t press select twice just once so timer wasn’t on. I also dumped full throttle on take off causing the rear to slide right bad.
Second pass I had the timer on but still put too much throttle on launch spinning 1-2 gears so I pulled out and back into the throttle.
Spinning is fun but tires aren’t cheap. So far my best is 4.8 seconds. Dry and clean tires would help a lot. I’ll try again on a nicer day. Btw rear tires are 275. Next tires will be 305.
