Is it guy lines or guide lines? For those who don't know, guy lines (in this context) are usually thin cords (“lines”) that pull the walls and/or corners of something-a tent, tarp, or cover-away from the center. The other end is generally tied to a stake in the ground. Even if I don't anticipate wind, I always pack guy lines with my tents.
Definitely guy lines, but I admit I often have a slip of the tongue and call them guide lines, but hopefully everybody knows what I mean. Thanks for watching!
Thank you very helpful was looking at the Zenobia for me and my dog as we had a 4 berth 1 bedroom as a starter this year but decided need extra room for toilet and storage so the 8 now seems to be the best option
Great review! I’m thinking of getting this for our family camping trips. I understand you don’t have this version of tent anymore. Can I ask what you upgraded to? Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching. We switched to the Hampton 8 tent, just because we wanted a built in porch area, I have a review of this one on the channel if you are interested. Happy camping ⛺️
Great videos and reviewing. Can i ask what your opinion on this tent 12 months later. Do you feel there are alternatives in similar price bracket that maybe better?
Thanks for watching! For the price of this tent you can’t beat it. I have swapped to a different hi gear tent but it’s slightly bigger and was more expensive.
@@cyclingn8 thanks for reply. Just spoke to you via FB. I watched all your videos prior which helped me choose so thank you as not many videos on this tent.
Biggest tip is Utd not Wednesday 😀 my tip would be to open the doors, not but not the net parts, to let air in the tent while pitching but the net keeps the shape as it should be. Happy Camping!
Hi, did you just get out the bag and use or did you have to seal it, as I've just purchased this last night after seeing the zenobia 6 but then accidentally bought the 8 haha.
I haven’t done a packing away video yet, just show putting it up in reverse at the end of the video. I’m planning on doing one soon so get subscribe to make sure you don’t miss it! Thanks for watching!
It can be tricky with it being so large. I’ve hung it over the washing line on a sunny day and kept moving it so all parts get dry. Spreading it out in a garage is also a good option if it’s not dry outside. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
very good review thanks, was thinking of getting the 6 berth version. Have you had any problems with UK campsites wanting to charge you for 2 pitches as this is 7 meters long ??
Haven’t had a problem yet but we have only been to non designated pitch sites so far. Booked on to a more regulated site in a few weeks and the max length was 7m so hoping it squeezes in!
@@cyclingn8just wondering if you ended up having any issue with the length of your tent in more regulated sites? Great review - we have been torn between a few and this was so helpful
Thank you for making this video! It is a great help when deciding on what tent to buy for camping trips.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching!
Thanks for this review. You made my decision much easier.
Glad it helped, thanks for watching!
Thanks for this, really helpful before family camping trip with this tent
Glad it was useful! Happy Camping ⛺️

Brilliant!! Thank you. I may just get the other one instead after watching the review!! 👍
Both great tents. You will be happy which ever you decide. Enjoy!
Great review very helpful.
Glad to hear it!
Hi I’ve just ordered this rent after your videos! Does it have hooks inside for lights ?
If I remember correctly it has a Velcro loop you can use to hang a light. Happy Camping!

I think the 8 is cheaper right now so you made the right choice, plus a bit more room! Yeah just use it straight out the bag no need to seal it.
Hi is this enough space for 2adults and 3 kids (10,7,4)?
Yes plenty of space. We used it with 2 adults and 4 children. Happy camping!
Hiya i wanna see how yous take it down and fold it away? But theres videos blocking it. How do i see that? X

how long are the poles?
They are around 6m long. Thanks for watching!
