I’m interested who the culprit scammed Halara’s parent is.I want to see and know about them.But if the they appear in Halara’s DLC,I’m so glad but will hate them because they injured childhood Halara’s pure heart deeply and gave a trauma about trusting anyone.
At first I was like "ok, a non-binary character. Interesting." But then I realized no one ever used any pronoums to adress halara, not even "they". So I'd assume the idea is for us to not know at all. I think even Kodaka does not know hahaha
They really did it. Kodaka combined Kirigiri, Peko, and somehow Syobai Hashimoto from SDRA2 to create one of the most eminently likable characters I've ever seen. AND made a trans (or at the very least gender noncomforming) character without making a single gross joke or messy plot point about it. It's a miracle.

Halara appears as a woman an so if i was attracted to females i would definitely still choose halara Shinigami kinda not for me but i think ppl choose her because she has a huge booba and a lot or fanservice scenes with her

That doesn't say anything. Are Bart Simpson or Ash Ketchum also girls? There's plenty of media where people voice someone who's a different gender than them. In Japanese media it's especially common. You have voice actors like Paku Romi, Junko Takeuchi, heck even Rie Kugimiya has done male roles.

Those characters usually have appearances that don’t give a straight answer. Halara has plenty of feminine traits. Halara’s voice, body, personality, and style seem to point more in the direction of female, so I don’t see why people would find reason to believe Halara could be male… until I remembered that this game was also made by the creators of Danganronpa who also created Chihiro Fujisaki.😅
It's a bit of a flub on the localization. In Japanese Halara uses masculine pronouns which is supposed to add to that ambiguity, but they didn't carry that over into the English version.
Chihiro was the fanbase over reacting. Everything we see about him points to a guy who dressed as a girl to not be bullied and it was evident in story and in the side events but people wanted to blow it up much more
