Thanks so much for sending it up for a good workout here. It is definitely robust and well built. It is my most used implement. Cheers to everyone there!
GP after reading the comments I realized that you have created a very loyal caring loving community. I for one am proud to follow GP and be part art of such a wonderful community. All of you should be proud of yourselves for your support of this man and his family during his time of need. We see GP smile yet we all feel his pain. Bless you GP and this community
Every thing you want to do is a good way to try and cope with things. Stay safe my friend keep your mine where it needs to be, winter will be a good time to reflect,,,
Thanks Mr P. It's good to keep busy. I lost my wife to cancer in 2019. Sometimes it is still hard to get things done, but it does help. Peace be with you and the family. ✌C Cheers.
Thanks, Gord - I recognize it is tough to do these, but I believe these videos are therapeutic for you. Thank you for taking the time and energy to put these together.
A little seat time and fellowship with close friends helps lessen the burdens you obviously are still carrying. As many have said, time heals wounds I’m happy to say I will wear my new orange dinner coat with a new appreciation for the gift it was. Blessings my friend!
Good video Gord glad you are getting out and doing some work with Guy that's awesome all the best to you and you're family at this very hard time take care my friend
Stay strong Gord. I know it’s hard to but she is always with you now. I lost my wife 2 years ago and that is what I always keep in my mind and it comforts me and helps me through the grief.
Hi Gord, can hear it in Your voice that You are still hurting. 😔 Working will help take Your mind off it. The pain will subside but never truly go away. Keep living life to the fullest and enjoying the cabin, She would want that. Still keeping You and Your family in Our prayers. Cheers
Hey GP, I bought that same grapple because of you and it has been the best investment I have made. Makes processing firewood and cleaning up our land a breeze! Thanks again, and keep the great content coming. Take care and happy firewood season
Good to see you Gord! I’m sure Guy, Bob et al are glad to have you back and are ready to put you to work! Tractor & chainsaw therapy! Stay well. Cheers!
Your videos are hard to watch, when I'm watching them I feel the need to get off my butt to get some work done but when I'm busy getting things done I feel the need to hang out with GP Outdoors. It's all good !
Hi Gord: I bought my Homestead Pinnacle 55" grapple about 2 months ago based on your recommendation and comparisons with others. Perfect size for my LX2610. I love it. It makes my brush and log clean-up so much easier and so much fun. I also bought the Homestead grill guard which is solid, looks amazing and well priced vs. others. Thx.
Nice to see that smile at the end of the video. Another great grapple video. I think it's one of the best implements made. Have a great rest of the week.
It was just as good to hear you laugh again! We have our own pest to deal with but sure thankful we dont have black flies! Still plenty of time to get chores caught back up yet...Be safe, Gord n Crew!
Hi Gord, all grapples are useful, but with your in-depth videos, not all grapples are the same. Thanks for the info!! Great to see you out and about, take care.
Hi GP, Great to see you my friend. It's been a while. I share your observations regarding sunrise and sunset. Since I'm a Fall and Winter guy, I love it. Bring on the cooler temps! Stay safe when catching up on the firewood! Peace.
How's she goin'? Great to see you back at it GP. It's hard I'm sure but I'm sure Kristen would rather see you out on the tractor than staying indoors!! That grapple looks way stronger than the old one you had. An interesting comment you made about the serrated jaws though. That was a good point about the logs sliding up together with the old grapple. Take 'er easy!!
Hope things are getting better. Firewood season is upon us. Me and my buddy are gonna be putting my lx2610 and out splitters to work very shortly. Have a good day man. Happy Monday
Glad to see you back! 😊 I’m installing a third function kit now on my L3400 so I can finally get my new grapple out of the pallet crate and put it to work. Cheers
Nice to see friends look out for your place!! Nice looking grapple!! With our temperatures here in SE Georgia, Im thinking of upgrading to a cab tractor!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Good morning again this day Gord, good to see you back at it with Guy. Getting things set up to get busy with the bucking and splitting , won't be long before the burning starts around there . Sure has greened up around there and glad the flies have retreated some. Stay safe and keep up the good works and the fun you can have. Fred.
Hi Gord, nice video, and have to agree, the season is quickly running out but glad that the black flies have subsided. Good grapple features and another great video. Have an awesome week.
Gordon I noticed your dust cap on your grappling had come apart and was hanging down when you lifted up the grapple. Don't want you to get it ripped off and lose it. Take care my friend. Thinking about you and your family. James
Good to see ya GP. Grapple is on of my favorite implements. I have an EA very similar design. Great support there with Guy and Husky Bob👍Have a good week.✊
Love my grapple! Waiting for fall to begin my trail edge cleanup! It has been too wet to take the tractor down the trail. Glad to see you back, take it slow, and easy!
Good morning Gord. For the size and the amount of reinforcement on the grapple the weight of it is fantastic. Especially when every pound counts. Very well built grapple. I can well imagine that it grips the logs / brush considerably better having teeth on the tines in comparison to smooth tines on the grapple like the one I use. Thanks for sharing.
GP, I surely do like that Homestead grapple and the way that it's curved to reaches down to pick up logs. My grapple is large and square and heavy as all heck. I'd like a lighter weight grapple but can't afford to have two separate grapples. If I could trade in my W.R.Long heavy duty root grapple for a lighter weight, curved Homestead grapple, I'd do it. Enjoyed a full-watch. Have a fine week. Glad those black flies are gone. I've got skeeters down here in North Carolina that are always hungry. Okay, be well, my friend. Be sure to say hey to Guy for me. Don 👍🏽🤠 8/14/23
Great video Gordon. I have recently taken delivery of a wicked 55 grapple and am having a blast. As a new grapple owner, I appreciate the finesse and grace with which you are able to operate. My learning curve has been steep this week and I picked up a few subtleties by watching. Many thanks
Great video once again Gord. Its been pretty tricky here in regards to the weather and getting things done. Could be worst! Be well, and keep those great videos coming.
I always thought that the grapple rack was the best option for moving heavier loads. The grapple grabs and holds a pile if twigs and branches quite easily but the grapple rack can do more than just hold together but it can do heavier lifting. Great video on the Grapple Rack.
Why can’t you just use a set of forks ? I used to do the same thing on my property . But I had a JCB 210 with forks . I could cut whole tree down , buck it up & take the whole thing to sawmill or firewood pile !
Hi Gord, thank you for the kind words and a great review of our grapple! It is always a pleasure to see what you do with your equipment.
I have two implements from Homestead and I'm happy with them both, well made by a great company!
Thanks so much for sending it up for a good workout here. It is definitely robust and well built. It is my most used implement. Cheers to everyone there!
Keep smiling, Gord. She'd want that!

Cheers and thanks so much!
Good job....staying busy and being with friends is important....
Nice to see you smile, Gord!
Thanks Bill. Hope you and Amanda are doing well
GP Enjoy your videos like that grapple .
Love my seat time working my grappler. For feeling lazy I can still get a lotta werk done. Thankz for sharing.
Thanks Gord
Every thing you want to do is a good way to try and cope with things. Stay safe my friend keep your mine where it needs to be, winter will be a good time to reflect,,,

Good morning Chris. You too my friend.
Stay strong Gord. I know it’s hard to but she is always with you now. I lost my wife 2 years ago and that is what I always keep in my mind and it comforts me and helps me through the grief.
Just received my 4' Homestead landplane...build very well indeed...
I hope the outdoors can bring you some moments of peace.

Glad to see you back it Gord. Nice of the boys to have saved you some work. That's a great support group you've got there. 👍
Hey GP, I bought that same grapple because of you and it has been the best investment I have made. Makes processing firewood and cleaning up our land a breeze! Thanks again, and keep the great content coming. Take care and happy firewood season
GP. I must admit that there is something therapeutic about watching that little tractor. Take care.🇦🇺🍺
Good to see you Gord! I’m sure Guy, Bob et al are glad to have you back and are ready to put you to work! Tractor & chainsaw therapy! Stay well. Cheers!
Gord, Well done
Gp, great info on the grapple. Cheers
Your videos are hard to watch, when I'm watching them I feel the need to get off my butt to get some work done but when I'm busy getting things done I feel the need to hang out with GP Outdoors. It's all good !
I have had a Homestead Implements grapple since late 2020, it is one of my most used implements too.
Great review of the grapple Gord. Glad your able to spend the time outdoors with friends! It's good for the soul. Take care.
Morning Doug. It is for sure. Have a great day sir
You made my day. Thanks. Craig. Pa.
Great to see you back Gord. Thinking about you and your family. Hang in there !

Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
Nice to see that smile at the end of the video. Another great grapple video. I think it's one of the best implements made. Have a great rest of the week.
So good to see you back Gord! One day at a time will ease the pain!
Good to see you back in the tractor seat. God Bless ..
How did you know I was going to ask if you liked the Grapple?
Still praying for your family.
Nice one GP. Looks like you mastered the grapple.
Thanks for the video, Gord. Great to see you back with the Boyz doing the "chores" you love doing. All the best to you and your family. Barry

GP don't know what to say but all I can do is continue to pray for you and your family.
Thanks Tim. Just thinking of us is more than enough. Be well
Your grapple makes quick work of sorting those logs. Nice composition review of both grapples.Stay safe! 👍TCT
Thanks Tony!
Hi GP, Great to see you my friend. It's been a while. I share your observations regarding sunrise and sunset. Since I'm a Fall and Winter guy, I love it. Bring on the cooler temps! Stay safe when catching up on the firewood! Peace.
I've had the Homestead for my JD for about 4 months and I love it
It’s good to see you GP.

Good morning, GP. Nice detailed video. I think the grapple is one of the most useful tools a person can put on their tractor. Thank you.
Cheers JH!

Hey thanks Ross! You too!
Gordon I noticed your dust cap on your grappling had come apart and was hanging down when you lifted up the grapple. Don't want you to get it ripped off and lose it. Take care my friend. Thinking about you and your family. James
Thanks James. I see it - thanks again. :)

Love my grapple! Waiting for fall to begin my trail edge cleanup! It has been too wet to take the tractor down the trail. Glad to see you back, take it slow, and easy!
Keep going Gord!
Thank you for the grapple review! Been looking at a Homestead Grapple for my B2601 since it is a NY company.
Great video GP ! I have a larger grapple and I think you have convinced me all I need is a smaller one like yours.
GP, I surely do like that Homestead grapple and the way that it's curved to reaches down to pick up logs. My grapple is large and square and heavy as all heck. Firewood season is usually in mid winter, when the ground is frozen. Late summer is for getting ready for hunting seaon.
Great video once again Gord. Its been pretty tricky here in regards to the weather and getting things done. Could be worst! Be well, and keep those great videos coming.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I always thought that the grapple rack was the best option for moving heavier loads. The grapple grabs and holds a pile if twigs and branches quite easily but the grapple rack can do more than just hold together but it can do heavier lifting. Great video on the Grapple Rack.
After your talk about the grapple, you put firewood on the saw log trailer.
Let me borrow that thing I’ve been a few teeth for you!
Why can’t you just use a set of forks ? I used to do the same thing on my property . But I had a JCB 210 with forks . I could cut whole tree down , buck it up & take the whole thing to sawmill or firewood pile !
Best way to clear your mind is with dirty hands..
