I like the duality of Eddie’s play through and Mark’s. Mark chose to trust Papa, despite openly being super suspicious about the situation and the fact that the pills always made the character very sleepy after taking them, and keep taking the pills, expressing hope in someone being a good person. He talked about how he had to have faith. And faith would be what gets him through (not religious faith just a different way of saying trust and belief in the person taking care of the character) and that by killing trust and faith you hurt the child. He was proven wrong and said “you can’t blame yourself for something you didn’t know about.” (Referring to the abuse the child suffered, and her ignorance about her situation. Basically saying don’t blame the victim for a situation when that situation is all they know and they didn’t know better.) While Eddie had seemed to intuitively sus out that something was wrong and the pills were not good to keep taking, so the moment he was presented the option he decided not to keep taking them. And the character ended up escaping their situation by being smart about their lies and their routines. This isn’t some psychological breakdown about their actions, but it’s a good way to look at the difference between the choices they made and how they thought about their situation.
Yeah, the girl got r*ped by her own father and it just sank my heart because I just had realized that this game is connected to the real world meaning it has happened to real people and this game teaches us to think about our decisions before we make actions.

after watching Marks video and getting the bad ending i so badly needed to see her get out of there. i was constantly tearing up on and off watching this. the developer did a phenomenal job telling this story and portraying a topic that personally hits so close to home trough a simple game. And if anyone else who sadly relates to the little girl is reading this, i am proud of you, and you are a fucking warrior. ❤❤

I like how Mark was basically acting just how most innocent children would and he wasn't aware about a lot of things going on. Close to the end of his play through, the character says something like "Why is my belly big and round?" To those who don't know, throughout the game- the more pills (sleeping pills, which is why you got tired as soon as you took them) you take, the more likely the character gets pregnant. ☹ Even at the start of the game where the girl waters the plant and says "grow big and strong little one." This was a reference to what would happen in the future. The game on the tablet most likely represented the father running from police, the "monsters" were also police chasing the father outside. This game was based on a girl, "Elisabeth Fritzl" who was trapped in a basement for 24 years and her dad did the same thing to her. She eventually had around seven children and the father forced close to half of the children to watch him abuse and assault Elisabeth while the rest mysteriously got taken to the family's house. Unfortunately the creator of this game had taken his own life due to the fact a lot of his games weren't seen, so everything about this game is just sad.

This was such a good but depressing game so i found some some more stuff. At 7:14 if you listen closely there is kinda some banging sounds in the background. It might be the Sound of the bed creaking due to the “father” SA’ing the Child OR the police banging on the door. (Most likely the first) The creatures the “father” is referring to is the police which is why he said “i dont want Them to find you” The game on the tablet is a game where you have to avoid being touched. You Can either fail or succeed. Just like the child. Notice how it says “wash yourself” instead of “take a shower”? This is due to most SA victims feeling dirty due to the assault that they need to wash themselves dry of touch instead of showering.

⚠CONTEXT HERE⚠ So basically, the character you are playing as is a very young girl who lives in a basement and who's life is also depending on the food 'Papa' brings and the limited water supply there, i don't have to explain what happens throughout the game cuz of Eddie's gameplay, but basically every day the girl falls asleep and while she's asleep, 'papa' comes down the basement are r*pes the young girl and as you can see this has been going on for a very long time, except there's a part of the game where u can either continue or stop taking the pills (sedatives) and Our boy Eddie here chose to basically stop taking them, and on day 7 or 8 (i forgot) after the girl falls asleep, because Eddie chose to stop giving the girl the pills, she can finally sense everything going on around her and because of that you can hear 'Papa's voice, the dialogue "alright, let's get to it" followed by a noise wich is papa pulling/taking off his pants was signifying that Papa was about r*ape the young girl but suddenly the cops come to stop the man, and then the ending happens. And in the bad ending where you continue to take the pills, in the end, papa succesfully r*pes the young girl and the day after that the young girl asks "Papa, why is my belly so big and round?" and then... the end credits play, and no, i'm not done, for more lore, in the Roblox version there was a black box (kinda like a black censor thingy) that had a question mark on it and during one of the endings the censor bar/box is removed exposing that it was a box of condoms. sadly i didn't get to play, and also Yes, this was a matter of fact, Based on a true story, its kinda sad how many countless times papa wasn't interrupted/stopped from doing his disgusting actions, so, with this in mind, y'all stay safe out there. and for the lazy folks who didn't wanna read all that, here is the TLDR: Papa is a pedophile and a rapist, every time your character falls asleep papa rapes you, and in the bad ending the young girl you play as gets pregnant, THE END.

This is a real story its really sad a 7-8 year old getting pregnant with almost 7 children and died giving birth her “papa” raped her and got her pregnant months later he was sentenced life in prison but a couple years later he died.(this made me cry thinking about how this happens to people yet you see these kids whining about getting hit by their parents once.)

The Fritzl Case: Elisabeth Fritzl, the victim, was put in a cellar for well over 24 years by her father, Josef Fritzl. During Elisabeth's imprisonment, Josef would assault, sexually abuse, and r@p3 Elisabeth repeatedly. The incest resulted in Elisabeth giving birth to 7 kids. 3 out of 7 remained in the cellar with her. One died shortly after birth and was cremated by Josef and the other 3 were brought up by Josef and his wife, Rosemarie, having been reported as foundlings (A baby/babies found left behind with no trace of the actual parent/parents). Josef was arrested on suspicion of r@p3, false imprisonment, m@nsl@ught3r by negligence, and incest. In March of 2009, he pleaded guilty to all counts and was sentenced to life prison. I like how Mark was basically acting just how most innocent children would and he wasn't aware about a lot of things going on. Close to the end of his play through, the character says something like "Why is my belly big and round?" To those who don't know, throughout the game- the more pills (sleeping pills, which is why you got tired as soon as you took them) you take, the more likely the character gets pregnant. ☹ Even at the start of the game where the girl waters the plant and says "grow big and strong little one." This was a reference to what would happen in the future. The game on the tablet most likely represented the father running from police, the "monsters" were also police chasing the father outside. This game was based on a girl, "Elisabeth Fritzl" who was trapped in a basement for 24 years and her dad did the same thing to her. She eventually had around seven children and the father forced close to half of the children to watch him abuse and assault Elisabeth while the rest mysteriously got taken to the family's house. Unfortunately the creator of this game had taken his own life due to the fact a lot of his games weren't seen, so everything about this game is just sad.
The creator, Nouhidev, addressed that this game was not based on the Fritzl case. Only the bunker/underground facility was inspired. Do you have any evidence that the creator took his own life?

So basically, the character you are playing as is a very young girl who lives in a basement and who's life is also depending on the food 'Papa' brings and the limited water supply there, i don't have to explain what happens throughout the game cuz of Eddie's gameplay, but basically every day the girl falls asleep and while she's asleep, 'papa' comes down the basement are r*pes the young girl and as you can see this has been going on for a very long time, except there's a part of the game where u can either continue or stop taking the pills (sedatives) and Our boy Eddie here chose to basically stop taking them, and on day 7 or 8 (i forgot) after the girl falls asleep, because Eddie chose to stop giving the girl the pills, she can finally sense everything going on around her and because of that you can hear 'Papa's voice, the dialogue "alright, let's get to it" followed by a noise wich is papa pulling/taking off his pants was signifying that Papa was about r*ape the young girl but suddenly the cops come to stop the man, and then the ending happens. And in the bad ending where you continue to take the pills, in the end, papa succesfully r*pes the young girl and the day after that the young girl asks "Papa, why is my belly so big and round?" and then... the end credits play, and no, i'm not done, for more lore, in the Roblox version there was a black box (kinda like a black censor thingy) that had a question mark on it and during one of the endings the censor bar/box is removed exposing that it was a box of condoms. sadly i didn't get to play, and also Yes, this was a matter of fact, Based on a true story, its kinda sad how many countless times papa wasn't interrupted/stopped from doing his disgusting actions, so, with this in mind, y'all stay safe out there.

this game does remind me of an actual case that was also turned into a movie, its not exactly the same as the game but basically a dad locked his daughter in a basement for years, he'd force her to have 5 or 6 of his children I believe, most of them not surviving due to the circumstances of the basement, his wife, also the girls mother, didn't know about this, though a lot of ppl think she was an accomplice not directly hurting her daughter but knowing about what was happening and never saying anything, since he had forged or forced her to write a letter on how she ran away with a secret boyfriend, after another one of the girls many births, she begged her father to raise that child upstairs in the house, he ended complying, having his wife find a baby in a basket at their front door with a note of their daughter saying that she wast financially stable enough to take care of the child and begging her parents to take care of it, so they raised this child, eventually it became the fathers favourite son, he'd pamper and praise him while in the basement he'd abuse his daughter and the rest of the children he had with her, I don't remember exactly how she escaped, how the police found her, but I do remember the pictures of the basement, tight hallways leading to slightly bigger rooms, everything filled with little doodles and kid drawings, that claustrophobic space in the basement game is what reminds me of this case

This game was directly inspired by the fritzl case where a girl spent 24 years trapped inside a cellar. If you look it up online you can see that the room is very similar to the one in the game. Its a heavy topic so warning to anybody who is curious.

I just realized that this entire game was like one of the two sentence horror stories that Eddie did awhile back, it even says the exact same phrase at the end "what is that glowing ball up there, and why does it hurt my eyes?"

To the people saying the case is fake, it isn't. The game is base on am actual case. The Fritzl Case: Elisabeth Fritzl, the victim, was put in a cellar for well over 24 years by her father, Josef Fritzl. During Elisabeth's imprisonment, Josef would assault, sexually abuse, and r@p3 Elisabeth repeatedly. The incest resulted in Elisabeth giving birth to 7 kids. 3 out of 7 remained in the cellar with her. One died shortly after birth and was cremated by Josef and the other 3 were brought up by Josef and his wife, Rosemarie, having been reported as foundlings (A baby/babies found left behind with no trace of the actual parent/parents). Josef was arrested on suspicion of r@p3, false imprisonment, m@nsl@ught3r by negligence, and incest. In March of 2009, he pleaded guilty to all counts and was sentenced to life prison. And the pills weren't in the actuals case by the way. And yes I most of the stuff I typed was from the article.
I know this was an emotional game and everything, but the fact that Eddie just forgot about the flowers for two days made me laugh.
Just a reminder that this game is based on a true story about a girl named Elisabeth Fritzel who was held hostage in a basement and raped by her father, Josef Fritzel, for 24 years. Her father drugged her and forced her to keep take care of the seven children she had with him in the basement in Austria. This game is almost an exact replica of that actual basement. The woman was only found several years ago and this is a pretty recent case.

In terms of sadness and heartbreaking feeling, this game is easily up there with "before your eyes" I think that's what it was called
Eddie, the second ending is so much more heartbreaking if you continue taking the pills.

Fun fact: the ending was actually kinda related to one of his 2 sentence horror series, in one of them there's a sentence he read that had parts like " what is that glowing ball in the sky and why does it hurt my eyes" which is kinda similar to the ending sentence that the main character says.

Made me really uncomfortable when she says “why is my stomach so big and round?” she... Got r@ped by her own father because the pills she takes are actually dr*gs to make her sleep but she can hear, so yeah...

There is another ending where if you kept taking the pills, you'd be stuck in there for over 400 more days (I'm pretty sure) and at the end, the character asks her dad "Why is my belly so round?"
