@ if you’re planning to check out Chiang Mai, i would recommend coming between November-January. And yes, its better to go somewhere else during the burning season
@@DianHuang I will arrive at 2am in Chiang Mai airport and Klook App customer service said that eSIM for iPhone 16 is not eligible. Any tips to get a sim card as soon as I arrive at 2am?
I am planning on spending the month of December 2025 in Thailand. 1/2 in Chang Mai and 1/2 in Jomtien. Thanks for the budget update. You are 110% correct on the quality of a Thai massage. I was there in December 2024 and had 2 massages that were great.
Hi Dian. Great advice, i have visited Thailand many times, however haven't been to Chang Mai yet. My favorite places are Ao Nang, Rawai and Koh Samui. I love the food in Thailand it is delicious and very cheap, especially if you buy from the street vendors. 👌😊❤
your right on about renting a bike in Thailand anywhere. I was thinking that would be what I do if I move to Thailand, but after just visiting Thailand, I have reconsidered. There is no way I would survive riding a bike every day in that country. Grab worked out really well for me while I was there, I think I would stick to that even if it was more long term. Also, the Khao Soy in Chiang Mai was great and cheap! Chiang Mai was great and I'm glad I explored it. Thanks for your advice on places to see.
FYI, No.3 dTac is now combined with No.2 True Mobile to become one company but still operates separate brand service for the next few years before it will eventually be only True. The combined company's customers are now neck and neck with No.1 AIS, and of course the coverage of the combined company is as good as AIS.

Would you recommend a 1 year lease and then run airbnb from this when you are away? Or is it too much hassle. Great video, you are really stepping up the value of the content! Greetings from Denmark :)
I saw some people are leasing their condo on fb group. I’m not sure if that’s legal on airbnb though, so you might want to double check on that. And thank you!
The elephant in the room room with Chiang Mai is that the entire region has the worst air quality on the world for several months per year. Nice place to visit, but unless you like pollution, add another $3,000-$5,000 US to your annual budget to escape the smog.

I am curious...but the strong pollution during the "burning season" will definitely have me looking into other countries.

@@rurupaps if that’s the case you can also get an esim before your trip. Depending on how long you’re planning to stay in thailand
@@DianHuang but Klook customer service said eSIM is not eligible for an iPhone 16. Do you know someone using an eSIM on iPhone 16?

What about healthcare?
There is health insurance which you can get.
@boink800 but it was not included in the video. I would like to know what options are there for healthcare insurance and what are the costs
@@JoseCastro-nv2tp There's a link provided in the video description from a company.

Are you thai? 🤔
Just the last name Huang should say something about her origin. If my memory still holds, she is Indonesian, earns her degree in China.
