  • Solo Touring the famous NC500 route in the Scottish Highlands on my Triumph Bonneville T100 in 2022, Probably the best motorbike ride in Britain.. Probably the best road trip in Britain. The trip took 4 days to complete excluding a day either side to get to and from the start/finish of Inverness.
This video follows day 4 of the trip, from Shieldaig, round the coast to Applecross, over the Bealach na Ba Applecross Pass and across to the finish line of the Kessock Bridge at Inverness. I didn't fancy spending another night in Inverness so carried on past Loch Ness down to Fort William where I stayed my final night at Glen Nevis Caravan & Camping Park. I wanted to complete this trip on a budget so decided moto camping was the way to go.
The campsites used in this video are Shieldaig Camping & Cabins and Glen Nevis Caravan & Camping Park. Both sites where well equipped and maintained and very well priced for tent camping, see links below:

Nice series of videos mate, they have given me a great idea of what the route looks like, hoping to complete it in next year. Some awesome drone footage as well. Just not sure about the music though....🙂

Thank you Mike, I’ve link the campsite websites that I used in the description of the videos if you’re planning to moto camp. Get it book mate, it’s absolutely unreal. Thank you pal, I was really pleased with how the drone stuff turned out, just wish it wasn’t so windy so I could have sent it up more often. Aye, beats listening to the awful wind noise mind 😂.

@@GLoveMoto cheers mate, not sure I'll be camping if my wife comes with me! Did you encounter many mosquitos? I do understand about the music...not that bad really and it did fit the footage.

Yeah unless you have a nice big tourer with panniers and what not it might be a bit of a squeeze to go two up. Just book nice and early then and you should be fine. Yes mate, they’re brutal. I went mid august which is apparently the worst time for them. I hear late spring or late summer is best. Thanks mate, that’s it, I just wanted something that went with the footage and would mask the wind noise. I’ve got a different method for capturing audio now so should be a trouble of a past now 😁
