Act 2!
ua-cam.com/video/qelbuKZ5z9c/v-deo.html
sweet thx
I love it.
Eric: crying every few songs
Me: honestly idk how he’s going to handle the second act
The staging of Satisfied (especially the beginning) seriously is full body chills every time. I was BLOWN AWAY seeing it live but honestly the cameras do it justice. (Also it makes the intro make so much more sense! I never understood just from the soundtrack!)
Man, you have absolutely nothing to apologize for when it comes to shedding tears to this play. I've been listening to the soundtrack since 2016, but still cried like a baby the 2 times I've actually seen it.
"ah haa, he's back"
-Literally everyone on What comes next
*You rickrolled me with that pfp*
also me reacting to your profile picture
@@miovvv nice.
One thing I noticed when I watched it for the second time is when Eliza is reading Hamilton the letter about John Laurens is that Hercules and Lafayette are reading letters up on the top part of the stage. 😢
Regarding the crying, you have nothing to apologize for. It's a stunning production.
"Immigrants. We get the job done." Love that line.
Appreciate the cry counter! Usually I last I last until “History Has it’s Eyes on You” or “Dear Theodosia” (that one gets me every time, the hope & the knowledge both Burr & Hamilton outlived their first borns. Until then, my body is just a field of goosebumps
So, you are able to keep it together during "Helpless/Satisfied"? What kind of steel are your nerves made of?
@@KidoKoin I usually lose it at satisfied, then hold it together till sometime during hurricane
@@KidoKoin Helpless I could see but really Angelica lusting after her sisters husband gets you?
KMichelle Argus Well it wasn’t lust per say, they were intellectually matched. Angelica met Ham first and Instantly felt a connection. As soon as she saw Eliza loved him though she lead Ham to her, because she truly cared for her sister. Doesn’t mean all her feelings magically went away tho.
KMichelle Argus No, that’s not what gets me. You have very specific and judgemental interpretation. Mine’s different.
You crying every few songs is the most wholesome thing in the world oml
I'm honestly bothered when reactors don't cry to this show.
this is probably one of the best cut reactions i’ve seen. major events in the musical and reaction highlights are shown as they should be. impressive!
Thanks! It took a long time lol
It's really affirming to know that other people cried at the same times I did xD Also, that stage direction in Non-Stop when Eliza swaps places with Angelica is one of my favourites.
I'm coming into this totally fresh - never heard any of the music (which is weird, as I did musical theater for years. Just missed this one.) I was like, "Is that . . . is that Kristoff?!" It is! I was sleepy and need to do a rewatch later today. Feel like I missed a lot. But my favorite so far are the Schulyer sisters. Those are some amazing actress singers.
prismmonkey I was late (ish) on this, didn’t listen to it until the Tony’s. Then I downloaded & became an insta-fan. At least I sat on it less than I did with Rent.
ITS ALSO JESSE ST JAMES
What's amazing about the ones who played the Schuyler sisters was when they were first cast, they got along really well and would spend time harmonizing and riffing with one another in the dressing room. In an interview, Lin-Manuel Miranda said some of the riffs in the songs they sang were not originally in there, but they played off each other so well that he kept what Renee, Phillipa, and Jasmine came up with in the musical!
i stayed up till 4:30am this morning and cried almost the whole time. i saw it in chicago last year but wow the original cast hits a soft spot....
i did too but it was mostly because i wanted to go to bed so bad. but the end got me and i was just bauling
When Lin is standing here on stage saying he’s Alexander Hamilton I legit feel like a proud mom, my heart can’t take it 😭❤️ 2:00
I’m kind of addicted to people reacting to Hamilton now 😁
Same
same
His laugh is so contagious
This is invaluable in terms of being able to analyze and appreciate the staging. That moment in Non-Stop where he doesn’t take his eyes off Angelica as she leaves and only acknowledges Eliza when she drifts into view was powerful. When I saw this the first time, I was convinced those two were going to have an affair in Act Two.
And the song Helpless was inspired by Beyoncè flow in her song Countdown when Eliza said, "In the living room stressin'....My father's stonefaced
while you're asking for his blessin'". Lin Manuel Miranda was listening to that song when he was thinking Eliza would sound amazing having that same flow in the song!!!
ok but serious question: what’s your top 3 fav songs? 👀
Ooooh that's so difficult. Might make a video on my top 10 at some point :P
That’s impossible
The room where it happened, the battle of Yorktown and Blow us all away!
I actually only like the first 3 songs 😂
not in order btw : The world was wide enough, one last time, non stop
I like all the songs tho
Just wanted to give you a fun fact. If you don’t know this already. Lin casted the cast to not look like what everyone looked like back then. He wanted to show the story, with people of different ethnicities because he wanted it to relate to how the world looks today, and not focus on the bad of the slaves, and ethnicities being separated. It’s so people are able to relate to it more now a days.
Currently editing Act 2!
Hi plz reply
@@mlp4ever321 But what do I reply to :D
Eric Reacts how long until part 2 comes out
@@mlp4ever321 lol itll come out eventually just be patient dude
haha took me at least 2 hours to edit each act and then another half hour to export it and another 10-15 minutes to upload. Currently almost done exporting Act 2
Honestly, there are few musicals that i've seen in my time that have given me goosebumps throughout the entire performance and Hamilton is one of them. I didn't understand in the begining when this musical first appeared what all the hype was about but then my friend showed me two songs (my shot, and the schyler sisters) and i was hooked. And until this premeired on Disney Plus i hadn't listened to the other songs and watched the whole performance when it aired on Disney Plus straight and I still get Goosebumps. I love how this was shown on the stage. It makes so much sense especially with the storytelling of the time with word of mouth and paper being the main reasons as to stories being past on to generations. I'm a history major in College and I love this musical sooo much it's a great way to show the history of our country epecially for those in history classes who may think it's borring and cannot understand what's being read to them but with this version of hisotry being told in constant movment and relevence those people may understand history more and even enjoy it! LOVED your reaction!
Listening to the soundtrack alone is wonderful but watching the performance with this incredible ensemble, amazing choreography and staging is just a whole other level. Satisfied and Battle of Yorktown/The World Turned Upside Down had particularly brilliant choreography and staging.
awesome!! just watched earlier with my family :) (mom, sister, brother in law, and aunt) my mom and i had seen it last december performed in chicago! was so awesome watching the original cast with all the nice camera work. what a good experience. (we all cried except my aunt lol! surprisingly my bro in law cried more than my sister haha. its quiet uptown HITS)
my bro in law and i talked abt the stage and choreography and how awesome it is! so simple and yet it conveys so much. the moving of props in the choreography is such a neat idea!
and im so excited to eventually see your reactions to act two 😄 i adored all your act 1 reactions
also while i may not have cried through Every song, when I saw it live I was phsyically shaking through like the first three songs before I could finally calm down like it was just like wow.. like it was happening i was there it was real! so i totally get where ur coming from haha
also just gotta add on.. the CREATIVITY in the choreography and everything for satisfied is just.. mind blowing. it feels like watching a MOVIE rather than a live performance. absolutely just.. takes you into the story. idek how to articulate it... just wow.
Definitely still want to see this in person!
No matter how much I hear/see satisfied it always gives me the chills
1:55 Bless your heart. Yorktown's what gets me.
I found this channel through your Turning Red reactions, just wanna say I love your vids so far and I can't wait to binge the backlog
This guy is such a mood, I also cry every thirty seconds
Ahhh I had a tear during Satisfied as well! I loved it!
I'm so happy you get to be able to see the live version 💜💜💜
I just saw it a couple of days ago! It was freaking awesome! Everything about it was fantastic! You better believe I laughed and cried!
I’ve lost count of the times I’ve watched it. Still cry every time.
11:43 I fucking love this man
Lmao don’t worry I mean Lin
The stage version is An Event.
Save, and when you are able to see it Live, DO So! Can you imagine the odor of burning paper accompanying "Burn"?
Eliza: I relish being your wife
Alex: *Walks away*
My mind was blown the first time I watched it! I didn't know the music, story or anything! I haven't been able to stop watching it! I cry all the time!
You're one of mine. I've listened to these songs and the remixes and I'ce loved them but watching the actual play? I cried a lot.
I cried the first 5 times watching the bootleg. I cried when i actually saw on Broadway. I cried when i watched it again on D+. This show
Questions! How far were you into the animatics act 2 before your drive got broken, have you heard act 2 songs in full before the movie?
I was about halfway through but I finished reacting to them afterwards. Just didn't want to release them out of order.
Omg you’re such an angel. I reacted the same time when I watched it.
Cries in dear theodosia
Predicting triple the tears in act 2. Dat performance of Burn 😭😭😭
Hi, I've just discover your reactions to Hamilton and I've been watching them all day. It's been fun! Hopefully the initial reacts for Act 2 are saved because it'll be interesting to watch you figure out the bits of the story that you didn't know previously. And after I hope you react to the mixtape songs, cus there's a lot of them, and they're pretty good! Anyway, thanks for the reactions, great work! :)
2:23 your voice was so deep………. 😩nanahhaahahah
YAS i’ve been waitingg
I loved your reaction ♥
Love your reaction to this
You cry when I cry. I feel that my dude.
I have so enjoyed your reaction and yes I cry alot
I cried so much during this! So much lol 😭
My parents wanted to take me to see it but the tickets were expensive
Sweetest Hamilton reaction
Get the tissues ready for act 2.
Don't take this the wrong way, but I love watching you cry ^^ It means you care and feel emotional and that's so uncommon in reactors unfortunately
What time is it ?:>
SHOWTIME
LovelyZasha like I said...
showtime, showtime, yo!
I really enjoyed your reactions, I wish I could have watched the show with someone like-minded...
I'm French and the show is really not famous there (most people don't know a thing about the American revolution, so A.Ham is a total nobody...which, I mean, fair enough...)
S'il y a des français qui lisent ça, faites-vous remarquer 😉
anyone know where you can watch the movie without disney plus? I'm from South America and you can't use Disney+ here.
@@anakatrinacortado3150 Thank you very much :)
I was searching a lot and could not find anything.
7:10 I cannot BELIEVE this woman is 50
I cried a bunch too just from enjoyment lol
How did you record this?
I saw this one on Disney Plus.
But it's censored for the younger viewers.
yeyyyyy
WOOOOO
You are the cutest thing omg ☺️
Oof my cry counter is 0
React to a Call me by your name, please. It's a beautiful movie.
Ok, serious question: why do you look like my math teacher?
Hm
I thought there was really maybe only 1 scene that was worth even remotely tearing up for and that was when his son got shot.
wait. toast?
lol no :P
@@ericreacts2 like your vids :3
So glad I found another first time reaction until I realized it's not a first time reaction so nah
he first reacted to it through the animatics
Bo try da DVD and Zac CMC CB bc
Samesies with the crying! You wait so long and then to see it in its full staged glory ugh
Riiiiight?

Top me 👀
Just kidding
