    Make sure to check the upper shaft bushings in each gearbox, they are a known wear item. Each gear box has to come off to replace them.. Its not a hard job, just takes time. If you let it go, it will wreck the case and the shaft. Take a prybar when the gathering chain is off and check side to side play. Use a drill bit to set the chain tension on the gathering chain, their is a spec in the book, I cant remember it off hand, but they are to loose from what I can see on the camera.

      Thanks! I will look into that for sure. Only 25 acres of corn this year so hopefully everything will work for now. Plan to work on it some this winter and fix the rest of the small issues. Thanks for watching.

    Duct tape and fence wire works every time! Lol
    On the last chain you was working on, has a stiff section. Oil it and it should loosen up to circle sprocket.

      That’s for sure! I try not to duct tape or fence wire anything, but sometimes it’s just what happens!
