His eyes widen and he looks around like he's just come out of a haze and blinks a lot like he's trying to clear his head. In that moment he must have realized he was about to attack Leon. No wonder he forced him at gunpoint to leave him. Him saying I tried could even be referring to him trying to fight the virus's pull on his mind That's so tragic. Props to Capcom for giving him more weight.
Remember, Leon still a rookie back in that time, it must be shock and horrible experience seeing this and can’t do anything for his superior and colleagues😢

Awesome video! As much as I prefer the original RE2 over REmake 2, I love that Marvin had a lot more material in this version!
