red flares so bright

I have never used a road flare before. Better to know your tools... now what to do now that it's on fire.

I have an orion car emergency kit with several of these flares included within it. You never know what might happen. They could be used for something as simple as marking your location on a dark road at night, used as a signal for rescue, or even as shown here to start a fire.

i think here in germany you can/have to use them in some situations where you were in a car accident or something and want to warn other drivers of it, like one of those red reflective triangles you have to have in your car but way more noticable
