Don't worry. the ink will show through but when you get a tattoo it's going to bruise
Its placement is actually pretty good, the middle of the upper arm is a good standard spot for something round like that and they had to work with the logistics of him not getting to look at it while it was performed. And the bleeding and ink running is always how a tattoo looks when it's finished, it'll heal up well if he takes good care of it. I do wish they'd shown shots of the healed work, every body artist and tattoo fan knows that you don't really see the true look of the piece for at least three or so weeks.

I don't know how they pick the placement for the tattoos for these videos, but I feel like they should've put the moon somewhere on his forearm, or, if possible, on the back of his hand where the thumb and index finger is.
But, again, that's just where I'd place it, but that placement is fine too.
