- Adidas has always been the brand & my love for it has never wavered. Whether it was running about in a pair of Samba in the school playground kicking a tennis ball, or on the grass playing football wearing a pair of Copa Mundial, or even sporting a pair of Gazelle on a Friday night for the disco. Adidas has never been far away! Having sold my collection the first time round back in 2017, you could say i have once again been bitten by the three stripe bug. In fact that would an understatement!
Amongst an army of blue boxes consisting of trainers i have also entered the world of vintage bags and bought several over the last few months. Im more than happy to show this ever growing collection in more detail if people wish.
My main focus within the Adidas brand since i began collecting again however is the Spezial range. Ever since its first drop in Oct 2014 the Spezial line has grown and grown in popularity. The brain child of Adidas Spezial is three stripe die hard Gary Aspden.
Aspden was the man behind the Adidas Spezial exhibition in Manchester in 2014. A celebration of all things adidas with over 600 pairs of collaborations, one-offs and rarities sourced from all over the world and from famous Adidas collectors. Adidas trainers from the collections of Aspden himself and other famous collectors such as Noel Gallagher, Ian Brown and Robert Brooks were used.
Ever since then the Spezial line has grown and grown with seasonal releases twice a year of both footwear and clothing. A lot of the Spezial trainer releases are a nod or tribute to previous releases over the decades. And the clothing influenced by a lot of the casual terrace wear back in the 70's, 80's or 90's. Most recently as the Spezial line has grown in popularity there have been trainer or clothing collaborations with both Liam & Noel Gallagher, New Order, and Peter Saville amongst others. Plus many, many other celebrities from the music industry, acting, or sportsmen endorsing the Spezial line. You could say it has caught on quite well over the last 9 years!
Anyway here is a video of my Adidas trainer collection this time round since i began buying again last year. I do have some regrets from selling back in 2017 but im hoping that i can somehow get some of those grails back and discover some new favourites which i never managed to get first time round. I have already began that process!
Please feel free to comment and make any suggestions. I am really keen and interested to see what people are wanting and what makes fans of the three stripes tune in. More than happy to make videos of my collection and share the love of the three stripe! Also please lets see your own personal collections as well!

i agree the drip is getting very expensive, nice but cant justify the costs
Yes prices are certainly creeping up and it’s stopping fans getting more items than they would ideally want. I’m sure we’ll see a few pieces in the sales though.

Great video…..I think the jackets represent great value compared to the track tops, love my brown Haslingden, it’s fantastic quality. Think I’ll get the Moorfield next.

Really like the video. I think the clothing is a lot better in real life than the stock pictures too. The Lawton is 👌 but agree quite expensive

Great info. Drop to close too Xmas and just after the last winterhills is a bad move financially. I got all I wanted but held off the Lowton at 170 will hope for it in the sales. Keep up the good work
Yes the timing isn’t ideal so near Xmas I agree but an Autumn/Winter drop I guess will always be around Oct/Nov time sadly. Hope you pick up a Lawton soon enough mate 🙌🏻
great video. I actually purchased a medium liner to go with the medium haslingden. I had a funny feeling the liner was going to be TTS so i have a large coming now. Totally agree, the stockists should give the PTP as we all know how random the clothis sizes are.
Nice one! You’ll be fine with the large. I got my Liner in XL yesterday and it’s a much better fit 👌🏻

I grabbed the Lawton and banktop completely agree the price was high for the Lawton. wish I got the bank top in xl the large fits but find it’s quite snug for a hoodie

another great video ,pricing does seem high but i got lucky with the lawton TT £127 free delivery from bstn they had a discount code that didn’t work on most the spzl range but it did on that so must have been a error their side ,they have honoured and posted it though .

I wanted the green cargo pants , but £150 was genuinely o.t.t in my opinion....! I don't usually buy the clothing apart from the T's , but wanted those pants , but couldn't bring myself to do it.
One thing that stops me from buying more aswel is the close proximity Spezial drop to Christmas and the New Year. I totally understand it with the seasons and all that carry on , but people's priorities at this time of year are usually geared towards that.
Totally understand and couldn’t agree more. Cargo’s are definitely over priced like the Hiaven, & Lawton. I’m sure you’ll pick up a pair after Xmas. Always keep an eye on Vinted. You’ll be surprised what comes up on there. I’ve picked up a couple of Spzl bargains on that 👍🏻

I went up half a size for carnforth and moscrop when they came out and did the same for inverness and moscrop2

Got the Moorfield jacket but it’s so freaking long. Got a small and the sleeves completely cover my hand. I noticed there is a sort of latch on the inside of the cuff, what’s that for?

I found the Suddell TTS mate. If anything a little oversized. Guess we are all made differently 🤷🏻♂️😂

How good is the Suddell TT, I didn't expect that material at all. I've had the order the Lawkholmes being a Yorkshire man myself, and I've thrown in the beanie. Cost me a fortune this drop but for me it wipes the floor with these other "casual" brands. ✊🏻
Yes i really like the Suddell. Almost as nice as the original Suddell. Very different though. I would like the beanie but wanting a large and all i'm seeing are medium. And yes i have to agree. No other brand can compare.
