This is a great revenge-plot costume production with really good actors and a strong harem-arc. Normally I steer around these stories since I don’t like harem fights, but when it is wrapped in a successful revenge-arc, I tend to watch - and this one is. I loved this strong/cunning FL and nice/calm ML who wasn’t the usual “believe the evil concubine”-type. Definitely well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL (Song Wan Qing) is only a little girl when she watches her whole family slaughtered. The reason was that her medicinal family saved a young woman (Shen Jing Shu) who was attacked by bandits and defiled. After FL’s brother managed to restore her innocence using a secret family skill, she left - only to return to kill them all in order to hide the truth about what happened, since she was marrying the Crown Prince. 10 years later and now a young woman herself, FL decides to take revenge. So, after executing and succeeding in her plan of “saving” the Crown Prince who was drugged with an aphrodisiac and chased by assassins, she enters his Palace. Now her real plans for revenge can begin, starting with becoming favored by the Crown Prince and wreaking havoc in the Harem. Soon, FL is caught up in dealing with this evil Crown Princess and her minions. Well, this has a happy ending.
Vi una serie corta similar pero esta me gustó más. La historia está bien llevada y las actuaciones no son malas. El final me parece satisfactorio y no deja ningún cabo suelto importante. Recomiendo que la vean. No hay maltrato ni físico ni psicólogico entre los protagonistas y eso se agradece.
