- After months of planning and building, our 1997 Dodge Ram van is finally ready for us to live in full-time! Our first stop, Moab, UT! With endless rock climbing, BLM land as far as the eye can see, and Arches National Park close by, Moab was the perfect place to start our trip! We have no plans on when we’ll return home so follow along with us as we try to figure out how to live on the road while getting into whatever outdoor activity we can find! Enjoy:)

The light /color/softness of the shots inside the van emit that cozy and inviting feeling. Balances with your story telling. It’s also like your little window of the world.
I would also like to hear your thoughts on food planning for this extended adventure. Like how you keep it fresh but not be tied to shopping every couple days.
Oh, and I gotta say the wind can drive anyone nuts!
We have a 52q fridge which lasts a little while we definitely make some store runs to keep it stocked up though

Loved seeing Moab again! We were climbing there in April for a week. Was the Wall Street climb Nervous in Suburbia? Heading into the states for a few months of climbing at the end of January. Hope to run into you guys on the road! Love the videos.

Hi Cody! I am your big fan! Are you using AUTO mode (ISO, Aperture) when you are filming outdoor or always all Manual mode ? I have a big problem when scenery change because of clouds etc. and I have no idea how avoid this problem. Do you use ZEBRAS for good expo ? Could you help me please ? :)

I love the Moab area. I like the hikes and scenery, not a climber.
What do you do with your dog when you visit areas where no dogs are allowed? Would love to get out to some more national parks but really I usually always travel with my dog and seems like there is too many restrictions..
It’s been hard navigating the pet rules in National Parks. I think you can still visit them and have a good time, it just might look a bit different. We usually try to go to parks early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s a bit cooler outside. Obviously, if it’s above 70 degrees outside that’s not an option. We also don’t leave her in the van for that long. So we’ll stick to the shorter hikes and view points. If we want to walk her around, we’ll keep her on paved areas. Hope this helps:)

@@codyandvictoria My lady and I are moving into a travel trailer full time in about a month. We'll be exclusively off-grid with solar and Starlink, but AC won't be an option for us. We're going with a strategy of high elevation and high-flow fans to keep cool when summer peaks.
