I loved Denman what a great champion
A lovely tribute and video to the "big lad". We don't see staying chasers like him and Kauto, and their consistency anymore.
Without a doubt the 2009 hennessy was one of the greatest weight carrying performances I will see in my lifetime Legend!

Very sad news. Denman was a magnificent chaser in his time as his win in the Gold Cup when he beat another legend, Kauto Star, gives testament to.
What Denman and Kauto done for the sport can't be matched, a truly brilliant horse. A sad day for racing, but he gave us some of the best times. He won't ever be forgotten. R.I.P Denman ❤️❤️❤️

Kauto Star wouldn't have ever gotten near to Denman at Chelenham without his heart problem. And why do these berks keep talking about the Supreme Novices? It was the RSA.
Didn't he win the RSA in 2007? I'm sure he was 2nd in the Supreme Novices in 2006. I'm getting older and memories fade.
@@goldcup11 Denman was second to Nicanor in the 2m5f Novice hurdle, then hosed up in the RSA Chase.

Beautiful racehorse. He was well loved 🥰 and was well looked after will never ever be forgotten Denman made a lot of people happy and people looked after him like a king as he was a king of the 🐎 world RIP you will forever be missed champ xx

Look at how ... let's say badly jumps/older horses are treated compared to thoroughbred horses. All the Aidan O'Brien horses have INCREDIBLE lives when they're with him, EACH has it's own personalized gold plaque on it's stable, and they ALL, EVERY SINGLE HORSE, has it's own bridles with their own gold plated nametags on them, Look at poor Denman and Kuato. Old wormwooded stables, with a tin door with their names written in Chalk. Aidan O'Brian talks to each horse every day rubs it, talks to the handler and head lad see how the horse is going, here you have "Have you seen Denman lately" "Nah, Email"

Why should there be? The lady who looked after him in retirement said that Paul Barber paid every single vets bill that came along. What more do you want him to do?
