Got my Livewire from Speedway EV a little over a month ago! Highly recommend both the Livewire and Speedway EV in Concord, NC. I'll be there on the grand opening on the 23rd! See you there!
For $30 thousand dollars, I want to be able to go 200 miles between charges. 80 miles sucks. A Vespa scooter is more fun and goes 150 miles on a tankful of petrol. $5200US for a 150 c.c.
I bought mine three weeks ago, after mulling it for two years and test riding 24 other motorcycles (yes). Value is hard to determine, but I can tell you that it is definitely the best value electric motorcycle - unless range is your number one priority, in which case that title would go to Energica (which also charges at Level II). It handles better than Zero - I test rode that twice. The performance is equalvalent to an FZ-09, which is a great thing. To me, this bike is actually under-priced for what you are getting, considered the high-end parts, flawless finish, every safety feature money can buy, and super premium treatment you get from the dealership. I actually met the CEO of Harley D and Ewan McGregor simply because I bought this bike. At $17k, it would be the best value in the world, but even at $22k, it's an awesome deal (considering the +$3k you get in incentives).
I'm definitely Livewire curious.
Great video! Nice work thans for sharing your thoughts and experience

That bike is a beauty
Cool bike. Have you been on a Zero? I'm wondering if you think the price value of the Livewire is worth it? I think it looks better than the Zero...
