    Thanks for WATCHing my first impressions of this new RM001. The first watch in my collection with the Seiko NH34 GMT movement.

    Thanks for scrolling the price by country James, i live in Canada and we usually get overlooked, but it really is a great help, and much appreciated, to see the price in our currency.

      You are welcome. I know when I watch videos I’m having to do the conversions so it is a simple thing for me to add.

    Thank you for sharing James. I've been looking at Rmalti since they hit AliExpress last year, and have been impressed with their overall designs, specs and quality level. Looking forward to your full review including vendor resolution. Good luck my friend.

    Nice looking watch James. Look forward to the full review. Hopefully you get that scratch issue worked out also. I'm like you once I see something like that I can't unsee it. Great watch though can't wait for the full review on this one.

      Thanks Darren. I am trying my best to get a good resolution. So far I’m not particularly impressed.
      Especially since it is the most expensive watch I’ve bought from AliExpress

    I must say a lovely watch. Looking forward to your full review. I have heard much good about the Seiko NH34 movement. This watch could probably be an affordable grail watch for me, as i once said the GMT Master is my grail watch, but i will never buy one, but the look was fantastic.

      It is a fantastic looking watch with some really nice details.
      I’m a big fan of GMTs so I’m excited to finally have one of these new movements.

    It is very nice James. I like that colour scheme too. For a watch with an NH34, the price is ok. Excellent video as always! The name isn't the best though.

      Not the best name. But one of the nicer dials I’ve seen

      I’ll do my best. I don’t have a macro camera yet. I can’t justify the cost at this point. But I’m sure I’ll get one in the future.

    Great job, brother James. As you know, I was waiting for this one to come down the pike. I am surprised at how much different this model is to the "Birch style" model that I own. I am curious as to how sharp the edges of the bracelet are on your model??? Looking forward to the full review. BTW, mine has the exact same linen-style" dial in grey, as yours. A real beauty. Cheers my friend, and wear it in good health

      I do really like the dial texture and I particularly like this colour.
      I have been buying too many watches and I’ve got a bit of a back log of videos hahahaha. Not a bad problem to have.

    Thanks for the video. Nice watch. I got the Vesuviate GMT so likely not going to get this one. Too bad about the QC issue. I think you will have no issues with the store. Cheers from Atlantic Canada!!!

    This watch looks cool, except for the scratch. Are there also extensions and tools for the bracelet? Nice review btw James.

    • @WATCHingJames

      No tools unfortunately but uses screw links. I took out 4 links to fit my wrist.
      No divers extension.
      Thanks for WATCHing

    Will be interesting to see what they do about that hour hand. I certainly know what you mean about PD, they get so close sometimes / still when I get coupons/discounts etc and snag them for $60-$80 I’m happy. Plus, i can sometimes tweak small issues myself. Cheers!

    Lovely watch! The GS is definitely high on the list as my grail watch, so it’s really exciting to see this Rmalti😃
    Have been curious for a while now: does the GMT hand on these NH34 movements jump by the hour as u adjust it, or does it move freely?

    • @WATCHingJames
      @WATCHingJames  2 роки тому +2

      The GMT hand jumps by an hour when using the quick set but moves freely when adjusting the time

    Is the writing on the bezel centered?
    It looks closer to the edge than being in the middle.

    • @WATCHingJames

      It is definitely a little closer to the edge

    Shame about the scratched hand. I did that to the hour hand of one of my Vostoks, set the minute hand a little low and the lume on the back of the hand scratched the hour hand 😞. I've got used to it now, but it's very different when you spend that money and the watch arrives like that. I hope they sort it out, I'd be OK with them sending out some new hands.

    I have the same feelings like you; mainly good reviews on UA-cam, they look great homaging GS models, but is it truly worth the higher prices?

    • @WATCHingJames
      @WATCHingJames  2 роки тому +1

      I’m still asking myself that question. It is very nice and I do particularly love this design. But it is more than I would normally spend on a AliExpress watch

    Isn’t that a bit too expensive for an AE watch. For that kind of money I would rather go for the Seiko with NH34 (it’s a bit more expensive yes)

    Good review but a silly name. The scratch speaks volumes of a lack of quality control at many of the Chinese homage companies. I just returned a Parnis brand watch today that stopped working two days after arrival. It's a mixed bag but my rule of thumb is now if the watch turns up faulty it goes back and I don't buy that brand again. Simple.

    • @WATCHingJames
