    Qline should be incorporated in this Bridge to link both downtown Detroit to Downtown Windsor.

      @@baileyneedham169 It would go off bridge down University st (windsor) to downtown core. The stretch just on university would be used for students going downtown and back. Would be a huge tourist attraction as well to go to both cities cores no driving. Would easily pay for itself overtime.

      Because it is not called a tower and it's good that she questioned it. They are actually called bridge pylons.

      There is much more coverage on the U.S. of the bridge which as a Canadian is rather annoying especially when the Canadian Government is footing the bill.

      ​@@bertjansen8217 its the more important side. A detroit man owns the Ambassador bridge. He just passed recently so his son own it now. Canada wanted something they could lay claim to as well. They lucky they got this bridge. You want it you pay 🤷🏽‍♂️

    To the comments for the US to thank Canadian tax payers for this bridge, you all and your government pushed for this bridge not the US because you all were whining about the traffic on Huron Line as well as your hate for the Moroun family who owns the Ambassador Bridge. Need to thank yourselves.

      This bridge will be equally beneficial to the US as it is to Canada. If the US voters didn't reward morons, maybe it would have been a real partnership, as it should have been. Infrastructure should be publicly owned.

    Canada better be the one collecting the tole fees since Canada is footing the bill . Yes i am a Canadian tax payer .

      For all of the talk about building infrastructure in the US, and considering the strategic importance of the bridge to both countries......it's amazing the US gov't has been absolutely NO help in getting the project going. I hear many in the US are complaining about the project, even now.

    Impressive bridge. Hopefully Michigan/Detroit will eventually be able to reimburse the Canadian taxpayers that funded it.

      Hopefully? The money is not being paid back by Michigan or Detroit. It’s being paid back through tolls from every person that crosses it.

      @@OkOk-fu4gb Canada spearheaded this project and Canadian tax dollars paid for this bridge with no contribution from the US. In an act of goodwill, it is hoped that the state of Michigan and the city of Detroit will begin paying back their share of the cost once they are able to start collecting tolls on the bridge. Why are you of the opinion that US taxpayers should not share the burden for an international bridge?
