Same here. I used to struggle getting sleep until I started listening to and watching WWII stories. I go for 11hrs stories and have been sleeping like a baby. I wake up after 7 or 8 hours, and the story is still running. I have thrown away my sleeping pills. I don't need them anymore.
i’ve learned so much about human nature from these stories. There’s toughness and then there’s Toughness. Young guys who’ve been through Boot Camp and are super fit and are always brawling with each other think they’re tough guys. but they wouldn’t be shit compared to a veteran who had been fighting the Russians for three years straight, who had killed 100 men and seen 1000 men die, who had shot his own best friends as they begged for the bullet, and who was still alive, one out of 20 still walking around, for sure with a couple of wounds still healing, half starved, abandoned by the high brass, but still fighting like a lion …… Those front line soldiers? They were Tough!
as an amateur historian, I absolutely love these stories. I’ve always wondered about this largely missing piece of the puzzle in World War II. The German soldiers. Who were they? How did a certain group come to kill so many Jews? Did the front troops know about that? What were they fighting for really? What was it like for them on a daily basis? All these answers and more are given in heartrending personal detail. Young men who are 19 have to look at their best friends with their legs blown off and put a bullet in their heads knowing if they get caught doing that date themselves will be executed. Can you imagine? i’ve learned so much about human nature by listening to the stories. Absolutely love the British accent. This is bloody amazing
Maybe im crazy but ww2 stories help me relax and sleep maybe its the soothing british accent . Whatever it is great videos thanks

Excellent 👌 cheers for posting 🙏
no doubt✌
Bro. You have such a mesmerising voice. Well suited for the story that unfolds. I feel as if the combating soldier himself speaks. Thank u.
Is your postings true? Any one going through such an experience would not be narrate in detail either in writing or oral. I begin to doubt.
It's an AI, not a "bro".
This series is particularly good. Thank you!
13:16 'in fact none of us could imagine his own death' monologue, the pride before the fall.
Thanks for the series, they r very educative and provide a very insight into what took place in battles
Life sucks, then you're sent into a trench and it really sucks
Very compelling narrration...
I hear these WW2 stories and then see videos of the war in Ukraine. Seems like history repeats...
Recently a German tank crew was overtaken by RFA ...the tank mechanic survived and is still in custody to this day.....
Ukraine just attacked Belgorad yesterday. 30 December 2023. Sad eh ?
Very sad
An old man in his 30s!
