I'm a devout metalhead, usually into the more insane and brutal stuff. Slayer, Skinless, Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Disgorge, Cannibal Corpse, etc. I heard this song for the first time last week. It is now in one my top five favorite songs of all-time. I just wnated to say that.
As I got lost in Judas Priest in 1976 and you can gather the stuff we were listening to at that time so I made myself appreciate talent no matter where I found and it kept my mind open to let in new vibes. Good for you ! Keep it open ! I'm sixty and found FAK two days ago and already bought 4 vinyl LP. Cheers
11 years later, all I can say is that… that’s the beauty of music. You never know what’s going to hit you hard and when it does it’s a beautiful thing.
you prolly dont care but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
Ah felt like ah awready knew but some very nice people representing the orange Bosch decided ah needed ah booster courtesy ay some extremely hubristic fck wits and ah couple ay easily corruptible bizzies
My dad introduced me to them when I was around 8. Back then, I listened to music on an Mp3 player, and this was one of the songs on it. I'd completely forgotten about it until now, and I'm so glad I found it again.
These two girls are unbelievable. There is genuine emotion in their voices, something that many of todays major stars so obviously fake. This is 'Soul' music in it's truest form.
Heard this in high school. I’m in my twenties now. A guy that I’ve loved since 10 has a gf now and the line “And you're all laughing in the garden And I'm lost somewhere in your mind” never resonated with me so deeply today than ever
Wolf was the first song I heard that I fell in love with and can't stop playing, each album I hear just draws me in deeper & deeper, these girls are just spirit & soul in its entirety! Love ❤️ love ❤️ love ❤️ them and this beautiful sound - thank you 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️🦋
I saw these girls live last night and they sang this song. Just Klara, Johanna, and a guitar. Absolutely breathtaking. And I swear, everyone in the crowd who sang along had a lovely voice too!
i remember finding this song after finding out my grandmother, who i held very deeply in my heart, passed away. i was eleven then and i dressed up in white to mimic these girls and sat for a while. i miss that a lot.
Just found these girls through a relative of mine. This song brought me to tears and it is also the first song I've heard from them. It reminded me of a few girls my husband dated so long ago. When I met him, some of these girls were still in love with him. He moved onto me and the same thing almost happened to me a few times. I don't know what it is about him that just makes it easy to love on him, especially when he had a hard time letting go of the past himself. Now I am his wife, pregnant with his child. We have an almost 2yr old that he adopted from my womb. There are times where those girls might reach out to him and I know they probably don't mean any harm to our relationship but he ignores them. There used to be times where he would reminisce the past with them but the past is long gone and we are in a healthy, Christian based marriage (1yr in, almost 4yrs together) and he has changed so much. ♥️
All of these ghost towns I keep travelling through All of these traffic signs and lonesome bars blind the view I swear I can be better I could be more to you But there are things that line my path That I just had to do If you've got visions of the past Let them follow you down They'll come back to you some day And I found myself attached to this railroad track But I'll come back to you some day To you To you To you Some day And I remember how you told me all you wanted to do That dream of Paris in the morning or a New York window view I can see it now you're married and your wife is with a child And you're all laughing in the garden and I'm lost somewhere in your mind If you've got visions of the past Let them follow you down They'll come back to you some day And I found myself attached to this railroad track But I'll come back to you some day To you To you To you Some day Maybe I should just turn around Walk away For no matter how much I really do want to stay You know I can when it's too late Oh I've found myself attached to this railroad track I'll come back to you some day To you To you To you Some day
Absolutely spellbinding. One of my favorite moments is at 3:55. It looks as though Klara forgot the words for a second (on "want to stay"), and she smiles, and they kept it in there. That's great.
both of these girls are amazing, i have listened to this song so much since I discovered it last week. There is something magical about when they're singing together - so to me it doesn't matter who is singing more, I wait for that. I love what Johanna brings to the music. Johanna is beautiful and Klara is beautiful in her own rights too, to all the people who seem to make how she looks so important. Just close your eyes and listen to the amazing music!!
True, i love their music allmost totally, can't stop listening to them. I actually discovered their music very late (since a few months by now). To me it seems they bring music to a new dimension. Keep up the good work sisters!
Lol, i had to search for the definition of the word 'gloomy' in a dictionary. But i do understand a bit now what you mean, by describing their songs as 'gloomy'. Although their songs are a bot of gloomy, but nevertheless, their songs still makes me optimistic too.
Nate Moerman i totally agree with you. Sort of a dimension in which I no longer felt the heaviness of depression. It helped me out, to realize how things can disappear into oblivion, and that I should strive for that never happen. Crazy, I know! They rock!
I saw these girls singing and playing at a roof in sweden ( Lund ) last summer, that was magic. From a guy who's playing in a melodic rockband! These sisters are making the most beautiful melodies and harmonies I've heard since Jeff Buckley.
Whenever I listen to this song (and it's often). I feel like I have been through a shredder! It's soooo heartbreaking, I never feel like I am going to survive it's beauty. Thank you, First Aid Kit, for being there: you break my heart into a million pieces, but it's a heartbreak worth all the pain and I shall worship this song forever! xx
I just love these girls! They are enormously good. Their other songs such as "The Lion's Roar" and "Emmylou" is on the highest level AND this song has a magical effect .. everyone who has a stressful life should take on the headphones and listen to this song, at least three times in a row .. if you after that haven't calmed down and started to feel good, well, then you have some problems :)
they are my love, my strength and passion. I can almost every single one of these wonderful, beatiful songs without the song on!! this song I've been loving a few years now and the love I feel for it is something I really can't put into words. Jag älskar er så jävla mycket!
And how good this genre can be. You just need to explore, then sift the mediocre formulaic from the true heartfelt , beautifully presented music that IS out there. You have the ears to find your way. Hope you did! 🙂
This song puts tears in my eyes. I live a nomad lifestyle as a wilderness tech every summer which requires lots of travel. These words are literally ME. Thank you FAK! I love you!

Can you imagine them harmonizing over a metal riff?!
Here they are covering Sabbath. ua-cam.com/video/xXRcDERfnZE/v-deo.html
I feel you friend. I'm cut from the same cloth, but experiencing their music it's on a whole other plain of existence
Their music reminds me of how precious life is.

Johanna and Klara are a first aid kit for troubled souls with their beautiful voices and wonderful music. There is great healing in these songs.
My dad introduced me to them when I was around 8. Back then, I listened to music on an Mp3 player, and this was one of the songs on it. I'd completely forgotten about it until now, and I'm so glad I found it again.
Great Song.
I always have to come back to this song. These two have stolen my heart for years but this song always stays in my playlists
These two girls are unbelievable. There is genuine emotion in their voices, something that many of todays major stars so obviously fake. This is 'Soul' music in it's truest form.
Nothing can stitch the soul back together like good music. The music these girls are making gives me a total heart transplant.
Nice words
They sang this mic-less tonight, it was equal parts eerie and beautiful and it was simply outstanding.
Agree. Was there at Corona too, Very special.
Did the same at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. So good
They harmonise so beautifully...chills.
What amazes me most about this band is the depth and quality of the lyrics. Every song is such intense story telling.
Heard this in high school. I’m in my twenties now. A guy that I’ve loved since 10 has a gf now and the line “And you're all laughing in the garden
And I'm lost somewhere in your mind” never resonated with me so deeply today than ever
I'm becoming obsessed with First Aid Kit... LOVE LOVE LOVE their cover of "America".
Its a strange phenomenon... I don't even like this type of music!?. But i love these.
@@c.7959 same!,i normaly hate this style but their lyrics are so meaningful
This is one hell of a song to be able to write at any age, but at 14-15 yrs old? What a talent! Beautiful! ❤️

Me neither..!! It's just like Balm to the Soul, all these Songs these 2 Great Sisters make !! AH !!
A balm to the soul, how beautifully eloquent. I love how you said that.
me too from France
what's in a balm, you don't know what's in a balm. that's why it is a balm.
it's been over five years and I still come back to these woman. I will be playing one of your songs as my first dance.
I saw these girls live last night and they sang this song. Just Klara, Johanna, and a guitar. Absolutely breathtaking. And I swear, everyone in the crowd who sang along had a lovely voice too!
“Someday”, is just a hopeful word for the hopeless.
i remember finding this song after finding out my grandmother, who i held very deeply in my heart, passed away. i was eleven then and i dressed up in white to mimic these girls and sat for a while. i miss that a lot.
I love these girls. Fresh. Nothing coming out of Nashville near as good.
I'm so happy my wife showed this band to me. Keep singing ladies!! Love it!
This was filmed on Ekerö in Stockholm by my friend Viktor Grahn, RIP Viktor, you are missed!
He died? How?
Has any singer alive just now got the beauty of these girls' voices? They are just absolutely amazing and so so poignantly beautiful. 1000 out of 10.
Just found these girls through a relative of mine.

They performed this in concert, no music, just two incredible voices!
My favourite First Aid Kit song, everything about this video is beautiful!!!!!
All of these ghost towns I keep travelling through
All of these traffic signs and lonesome bars blind the view
I swear I can be better
I could be more to you
But there are things that line my path
That I just had to do
If you've got visions of the past
Let them follow you down
They'll come back to you some day
And I found myself attached to this railroad track
But I'll come back to you some day
To you
To you
To you
Some day
And I remember how you told me all you wanted to do
That dream of Paris in the morning or a New York window view
I can see it now you're married and your wife is with a child
And you're all laughing in the garden and I'm lost somewhere in your mind
If you've got visions of the past
Let them follow you down
They'll come back to you some day
And I found myself attached to this railroad track
But I'll come back to you some day
To you
To you
To you
Some day
Maybe I should just turn around
Walk away
For no matter how much I really do want to stay
You know I can when it's too late
Oh I've found myself attached to this railroad track
I'll come back to you some day
To you
To you
To you
Some day
You know I can't** :)
Lonesome bars blindsideing you **^

Been listening to them for 10 years now and they never disappoint. So many great tunes. Stay Gold my favorite.
I love that you can tell everyone listening to this truly loves and appreciates their incredible music.
Well, why shouldn't we ? ;-) They're good singers. In a league of their own, I feel.
Very much in tears at the end of this one. Utterly beautiful!
I've just fallen in love with them!!
OMG such a beautiful song.

Yes, my new favourite band too. I love everything they do. I stay up late, I listen and drink wine and cry. It's wonderful.
These young girls are awesome! Who said real music is dead? Bob Dylan and now these gals.

Such a sad song I love it more than life
Absolutely beautiful!
I first listened to this and ‘Strange Beauty’ recently and they have very quickly become my favourite First Aid Kit songs.
And ´In the Hearts of Men´ , ´To a Poet´

This is my current favorite song. I can't stop listening to it.

This band(are they a band?) reminds me of the singer/songwriters of the 70s. Terrific lyrics, beautiful voices, harmonies that only sisters can achieve; I'm thinking a cross between Joni Mitchell and Dolly Parton. Wonderful.
By now you have probably found their new(er) music, with their band, in big, splashy venues... It's all held together by their incredible voices, and their brilliant, insightful songwriting... in English no less; not their native language.
That was enough to squeeze a little tear right out of the corner of my eye. There's magic in their voices.
How was this 5 years ago and not be popular
This is absolutely the best thing ever.
This is a phenomenal song!
I think they're both beautiful and they make amazing, pure music.

Beautiful song & video. This is about the fifth song I have loved by this group so far & I've only just discovered them tonight.
