- Understanding email addresses in a foreign language is hard! But we often need to write down an email address, so you need to get used to them, especially if you plan to sit an exam like the IELTS.
This video is useful for anyone who wants to practise listening to email addresses in English, and it can be used as IELTS listening practice.

18/20 I guess you can read the text a little bit faster,
and throw in things like “we”, read it quickly, so that I will have to guess if it’s “we” or “ee”.

This was really difficult!! What makes it specially difficult is, that there is no repetition of the spelling. I mixed up too much e - i - g - j …. 😢

The spelling part is too slow and this can ease the correction. At a higher pace, perhaps, I would not have done this score.

Well, for some people this speed is not that easy. ;-) It depends on your level.
If you practise with my other videos, I recommend increasing the speed to 1.25.
Iced it this time but she was really slow.
Next time I am going to try a video that is faster to see how I will do.

How the email address is considered like, for instance in one word or one number type questions how do we write the EMAIL ADDRESS ?
Example of the question is …........@........
The answer is Mandy@tle.com
Here should we @ also in answer.
tle.com is considered as one word or two words. How it is explain me.

In emails those are technically hyphens, but some people will say "dash". :) A dash is longer than a hyphen.
