Florida cowarded away from Miami in the 80s and took them off there schedule Florida State didn’t.
Florida, year-in-year-out, plays one of the toughest schedules in all of college football. SEC schedule + FSU game every year, at a minimum.
Hey Genius. Florida stopped the rivalry after the 1987 season as the SEC went from a 7 game schedule to an 8 game schedule and they only played 11 games. Get a clue. Please name me any school in the Nation that has 2 locked in OOC games? Do some research. FYI: FSU and Miami are also in the same conference genius.

Julian Smith, Oops! That was a typo. I just corrected it. I know all about the Marlins as I have spent most of my military career in South Florida. I saw the Marlins play the Giants in the 1997 NLCS in Miami. It was awesome. An great baseball playoff atmosphere. Fans really enjoying the game. However, I went to Game 1 of the WS against the Indians. It wasn’t like the NLCS. They were not the same type of fans as the NLCS. Marlins also won the WS in 2003 and that was awesome as well.

The way Spurrier always put down Clemson is pretty funny, and since he is still taking shots at Clemson, lets review: In 12 years at UF Spurrier won one National Championship. In 10 years at Clemson, Swinney has won two. Spurriers bowl record was barely a winning one, he was 11-10 in bowl games. He quit on So. Carolina when things got tough. His NFL coaching career was dismal. I don't think Spurrier has much to crow about.
