I just deemed them as "Extreme Metal" or "Melodic Extreme Metal" cuz it's very hard for a band like Rotting Christ to be categorized in a genre perse... unless we talk about their early works.
RC has gone though Grindcore in their early years, to Black/Gothic Metal... and now, Melodic Extreme Metal. They're just one of a kind and NO OTHER BAND can top their game. I'm so glad I found out bout them years ago, since then they've been my favorite band ever
