FX-4CR gets involved with an old Heil BM-10 dynamic element headset. It even works!

Heil headsets are all over the place and for good reason- their sound is top shelf. This video shows how we integrate an old dynamic element BM-10 with the new FX-4CR. It's fairly straightforward with one major warning: THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR HEIL HEADSETS WITH ELECTRET MICROPHONE ELEMENTS! We have no practical way to put the necessary bias to the element.
The headphone issue is solved by a cheap Amazon pigtail to convert the 1/4 inch TRS to 1/8 inch TRS that will work nicely in the FX-4CR. And yes, my old BM-10 has an intermittant connection issue. It's probably time for something newer.
