Because Malays had a stronger national identity and had deeper roots in the countries history. Back then the other two main ethnic groups like Chinese and Indians were still clinging on to wherever their ancestors came from. So their national identity was a bit on the fence. Just look how the Chinese girl in the vid views herself she identifies more as Chinese rather than a Malayan, and her views is not bigoted (base on another vid) she talks about the perception of how Chinese ppl in Malaya view Malays, which is a fact in those time. These views and opinions are what ppl back then thought of the world they saw, how they agreed and disagreed about certain things. So we in the present have nothing in common with their views in that time, because have learnt and experienced. So don’t get wind up to someone’s views decades ago.

Majority of Malaysian are Chinese. The Indigenous malay and indian malay are just minority.. In Kuala Lumpur, most people lived in luxury are Chinese while the Indians and Malay are in the countryside or in the slum. I feel sorry for malay and indians, they become a second class citizen in their motherland.. Malaysia, is just Province of China and the government is run by Chinese oligarchs..

The land is filled already with native. However, due to the colonialism from British, they brought over 2 millions Chinese year by year for working as slave in Malaya. Over the time, Chinese population was exceeded than native Malay, which forced the First Prime Minister to let out Singapore from Malaya. Despite of Malaya was getting independence from British in 1957, the government of China decided to do not let they to return and the native decided to let them to stay in the country. However, until now they still think that they are belong to China, not to Malaysia (new name of Malaya). They have sentiment that they are superior and that what makes Chinese is hated by world population.
I didn't know where you got this fact, but as a malaysian, i know that chinese only constitute about 30% of the population while malay and the indigenous people are 60% of the whole Malaysian. Get your fact straight, not only from what you had observed.
