I used Samsung Notes for about two weeks and its so great! But there are two major downsides I have experienced: When u export the notes to .pdf, the resolution becomes very poor after zooming in a little bit and the second point is that if you use the grid as a template (as i do), the boxes are not 5mm like on normal paper, so you wont be able to fit that much content in the same space as on 5mm paper and this is a huge problem for me as an engineering student If Samsung is going to fix this, I will use Samsung Notes again because it is so great besides those two downsides! :)
@@Andrei-qi4tm Yes, I discovered this later as well, and it's not bad, but the resolution is not perfect. But its still better than the existing templates from Samsung!
There's' one comment on my samsung notes review video that said that samsung notes has addressed the poor exported quality file by saying that samsung notes intentionally reduces the quality on their notes to improve speed and that is why, when exporting the note, you obtain a poor quality file. Noteshelf produces reaaaally good quality files and that is probably the only reason why I still use it every once in a while
I didn't know you can drag out the favourite pens toolbar, what a cool new feature I learn about Samsung Notes from this video. I mostly like to use the lined paper template because I've gotten used to the old lined paper template that I dont want to change xD. I like to use on landscape mode because my desk space is small and having it on portrait makes my keyboard go all the way and typing in my computer while taking notes in portrait mode can be an uncomfortable experience for me. Keep up the great content! Looking forward for more organization and note taking app videos

For Samsung Notes I took a picture/screenshot of the formats i would like to write on. I don't like the large spaces the Formats of the regular ones have.
I prefer portrait mode a lot more too. I first tried landscape mode because that’s how I say most of the youtubers take notes but portrait feels a lot more natural

A heads up on the UI 3.1 update with DeX. I just spoke with Samsung Support and was told that for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, DeX will only connect with an external monitor. It will not work with a PC, even with a cable and Windows DeX. So, other than a computer-like display in landscape mode on the tablet, I'm not sure I see the value yet. What do you prefer, samsung notes or noteshelf? I got both but like struggles a bit.. sometimes i move to samsung notes and othet times to noteshelf.. this is my 4th time rewriting my notes
I've personally stopped using noteshelf this semester and started writing all my notes on samsung notes (except for the ones that I need to export back as pdfs) :)!
I create notes on my samsun m21 cuz will get my tab after 2 years any tips?
Which Icon Pack you use?
AlineT:)!

How do you save a template after you chose one? I have to reselect one every time i go into themlates
is it normal that it lag on my S6 lite writing with Samsung notes while zoomed?
on app like onenote and noteshelf it's always very smooth
It shouldn't be normal but I have a friend with the tab s6 lite that has the same problem... idk if this can also work for you but he said that disabling the easy writing pad, from the settings, reduced the lag
@@RegularTeenager thanks it reduced a little bit but I find it weird that a third party app runs smoother than a proprietary app
Is it common that when zooming the pen delay / lag is way bigger than else? So if I'm writing at 100% Zoom there is very little lag but the more i zoom in the worse the lag gets?
which screen protector are you using ???? paperlike?
It is "paper-like" but not from the official brand, it's one I found on amazon which I'm planning on making a video about soon:)!
@@RegularTeenager make this video please 🙏🏼
I am a engineering student. I intending to buy a tab for mainly note taking as well as for bit graphical task. I want your expert opinion. Important mention that I don't own any tab.
Kindly give your expert advice.
The one problem with Samsung note is, you lose the strg f search function on your pdfs if you write notes on it. Correct me if I made a mistake.
What tablet do you use ?
Tab s6:)!
You should check out To Do from Microsoft (have you?)
I have seen in on the playstore but never tried it out extensively. I will give a try, thanks for the suggestion:)!!
why not mention as N° 1, the program you are using for note taking ?
Which tab?
Which tablet is that? I have tab s7, and IT Looks different....
It's the tab s6 but I bought the spen from the tab s7 because it's more comfortable:)!
@@RegularTeenager ohh, thanks

Are you using the Tab S6 with a Tab S7 S-Pen? :)
Exactly:)!
@@RegularTeenager, nice. So you didn't really like the one that the Tab S6 had. I have just bought a new Tab S6 for my classes and I'm really curious if the Tab S7 pen is a must for a better writing experience. :)
@@tudorsraer I wouldn't say is a must but I do think it makes lomger study sessions more enjoyable!! For me, the shape of the one of the tab s6 has a very unnatural feeling which makes my hand get tired really fast
Where did you buy the S7 pen? Can buy only the pen?
Hi! do you still recommend s6 lite for note taking until now?
Yes, it's a great value device:)!
Hi, I just bought a Xiaomi Pad 5 and I was looking for the best app right now for note taking, which is for you right now? Flexcil? Noteshelf? (I would not be able to use Samsung Notes)
Thank you in advance!!
I am in the exact same situation as you (were?). Did you get to a conclusion?
@@yosufe5958 I'm using Flexcil I'm really happy with it, but try to search for a Samsung Notes modded for other non Samsung devices, some works good too
@@pedrorj2 thanks will have a look into that
Can i open multiple page in split screen view in samsung notes?
Yes:)!
how did u draw the shapes without using the shapes tool?
Don't lift your pen for a sec and it'll be automatically register as a shape
@@RajShekhar-jy2zi thanks 😊
Didn't know about Quick shapes and favourite pens. Quick shapes are soo cool and erasable too unlike ones from the tool.
Yeah!! Thanks also something that I really liked, being able to erase the shapes with the eraser it's much better than having to tap and hold to delete it!!
How to do it?
@@verix. Quick shapes? Just draw a shape but don't lift the pen up.
which tablet is it?
Tab s6:)!
@@RegularTeenager nice I'm waiting for the next samsung tablet with stylus to come up and will pick it up hopefully one of them will come out soon...
