I can watch this show all day. It's so satisfying watching true craftsmen/women doing what they do and turning something that was ready for the skip into something amazing.
Craig as always has done an incredible job on that tattered and incredibly worn wreck of an armchair. I don't know how he does it. The shape of the armchair is still wonderful, but I would have preferred different materials and colours. But that's where personal taste enters the situation. 🤩
Thank you Patricia
That red doesn’t go well with the rest
I would have used brown leather instead of bright red.
Craftsmanship at its finest he loves what he does it’s then not a job but passion
All credits to the craftsmanship of the upholsterer really beautifully restored.
Thank You
All Restorers here are genius in their stated expertise. Lovely chair, I would love to curl up with a good book in my private library with a good friend.
A really good job on that chair and a job a computer can’t do, a great craftsman to watch work.
A beautiful and very impressive presentation. My thanks, appreciation and respect.
Thanks!
Beautiful chair, love the updated version, what a craftsman. Looks so comfortable and stylish.
Thank you!
@@craighughesupholsteryoffic5077 thanks for the response
Craig, I am a great admirer of your excellent work. Look forward to seeing more.
Der Meister der Polster ist absolut Graig, und der bekommt jedes Sofa oder Sessel hin und verleiht ihn neuen Glanz und Glamour. Bravo 👍👍👍👍
Always a joy to see superb craftsmanship. Good bones in furniture will always pay off.
Came out well!
Exceptional craftsman skills well done sir.
Thank You!
Wow! A wonderful chair tastefully done.
Amazing job , what a talent !
Thanks again!
It went from charming antique to something from DFS lol
Nah not for me , but brilliant work.
Would have liked to seen it restored to it's original style. This is no go for me.
@@lornahardin4563 Same here ...!Love leder chair .....!This matirial is not for evreyone if you have allergies ...!
An artist.
quite the artist....great job
Thanks!
Really surprised me - I didn't think I'd like that fabric at all, but the end result was striking & looked comfy.
😁
I'm pretty sure 'inside' Drew wasn't too happy with this outcome. Cause he said in the beginning that he wanted to save as much as possible. Therefore i imagined he wanted to have the 'Chesterfield buttons look' returning, aswell as the old casters.
I was shocked at the castor removal myself. Bet Drew replaced the new castors with the original ones back at the shop.
@@dgcaz1 Can't imagine him Not changing a thing or two..
Fantastic
Just wonder about the room this would fit in
Nice I like it
It is fab I love it
😁
I'd go back to original choice of material for reupholstery.
I think the red as spoilt it but i like patterned material
Wow now thats a chair
Would have been looking perfect in all red. Same red as on the sides.
Interesting
I would say it’s more of a bohemian style but also has a middle eastern look to it, probably a custom design for somebody. There’s No way drew would prefer this fabric over its original leather
I thought Drew would have had it redone in leather or at least good quality vinyl to maintain the original look. Usually he does that but not this time. Maybe leather would have been too big of a job or too costly, but why not vinyl ? I think a leather look to it would have been much better and also maintained some of it's integrity.
Meravigliosa
The front of the arms do not match at all!! Was there no cleaning done to it????
You never say how much it cost to refurb lol
A lot
Easily 600-800 to have a chair fully upholstered
I appreciate the work but colours and fabrics are not my choice
The chair belongs to Drew but Craig done all the work which is superb as usual, I think the chair would have looked better in leather in chesterfield style, the fabric Drew chose did not suit in my honest opinion, and Drews stupid question could Craig sew all the splits in leather with all his knowledge in the trade
Drew often downplays the selling price of restored items to justify paying low fees to restorers.
Finely he uses tack strips, those he's completed with tacks exposed look unfinished.
Superbe
Craig is a good craftsman but the colour mix in this case is truly foul.
Hi Mick !
I think we have to remember that this chair has had a long brown classical life.
Most likely it's been saved from the bonfire.
Now Craig has given it a new existance, matching present top end interior trends.... 🤗
Somebody will love that chair !
Greetings from Norway 🇳🇴
✔️
He who has no past has no future.
Ya the work is great but them material is horrible.
Dreadful!!! YUK! Should have been repaired as original in leather!!
Ok :)
It's a desecration to take a real antique leather chair, and just destroy it, taking out the buttons, and putting on a loud fabric on it. No matter how good his "workmanship" it has destroyed the chair forever. No-one would recognize it, and restore it to a true pre-chesterfield ever.
Hi look at this
Drew gained weight??
that's a hideous fabric

Prefer leather
I don’t like the fabric choice.
Awful. With a surprising german 'sense' of style
Well that looks like garbage now! Throw it away!
I think my friends, are sick and tired of me promoting your show. I also watch on EarthX Channel. In America we have The Crazy Lamp Lady, shopping for Mid Century items on UA-cam. She buys stuff my mom had, and I don’t like it. I’m more a Country French shopper.
