Hi Mike, it's great to hear that X9 humming away, threshing & cleaning the wheat crop 2024. I must say it sounds quite content with the settings & ground speed just watch out for those rocks especially since you didn't manage to get this field rolled & having to cut so low. Great video again Mike & so good to see good bushel numbers from your North farm. 😎
Hey hey Mike!! I'm a new subscriber sent over from Jan The Sasdutch Kid. He told me to check you out so its this video first then back from the start I go. Thanks for sharing this with me.
Good afternoon, from North Carolina. My mom rode the grainline on horseback as a kid in Alberta, imagine it may have looked something like this. Thanks for sharing.
Finally found this channel again after UA-cam buried it. I think I was watching ur shows 2 years ago when you were stuck in a mud pit. Lmaooooo. I’m subscribing so it hopefully doesn’t happen again. The Canada cow dairy guy mentioned your name and I was like “hmm I wonder-OH ITS DA FUNNY EMOJI MAN”
You have a bumper crop of wheat, which is excellent. There will be a lot of money, a result of labor that is always like a dream. Wishing you lots of luck and happiness. ♥♥♥♥♥
It’s nice to see wheat being harvested. I eat it daily, large amount in my whole wheat, pasta, and black beans. I’ll leave between 12 to 16 ounces measured dry. I add Cayenne pepper to it in salt sometimes cinnamon very healthy.
We had some beans that didnt get rolled few years back and it was a drowthy year short. Had to stop very often to empty rock trap and replace sections and guards

Mike I have no idea what your issue is with the lentils. There’s x9s everywhere down here cutting wet canola tough lentils tough durum. They don’t have the plugging issues you have. Which chopper which knives do you have spreader PIP done? Call other dealerships call other farmers theres other experts out there to reach out to. But you’ll doubtfully read this anyways but dang it I’m trying lol.
is it time for a red one??? i heard, the af11 can work like nothing. the welker are demoing one and it looks like a winner. its a beast with 11-13 mph in
You better be checking the head gasket ! Could be leaking internally and vaporizing it. Did you check your oil to see if water is in the oil ? Bad expensive motor to be guessing where the water is going.
I can't help but think your "X combines if you have to dig them out again this year" comment may be influenced by your experience with your Deere dealer and those S series combines down south.
@@crandonborthnot many soybeans grown up here. We gave them a try for 3 years. Best they did was 25bu/ac. Gave them a fair shake too, put them on some nice fields.
I guess 100 bushels an acre explains why US farms have to be so big. In UK I think its around double this or more. The UK probably smaller than your whole state 😅
Imagine driving by that field and watching some guy standing on top of his combine yelling at it
Right!! And pointing at and yelling “you need to calm down…” 😂
CLASSIC mike
Happens more than you think.
Average farmer day
HEAL thyself!!
Watching Mike combine wheat while I am drilling wheat. Interesting.

The Header is doing a nice job of cutting the lodged wheat.
YES I was about to say same thing, I know what harvesting lodged crops are in uneven country , great job Mike ,the head is doing a wonderful job !!!

Appreciate the content mike. Nice to come home and unwind with a harvest video.
I would love to see Mikes reaction when that combine finally picks up a rock and shouts at Mike about poor field preparation!!!
Hi Mike, good to see you're getting decent crops this year
Decent lol, 80 to 100 bus ac is a great crop.
Keep up the great work mike
Wishing you a huge harvest at your North farms !!
Mike's losing it!!! Lol yelling at the combine!!! Come on Mike!!!
It is nice just to see that much wheat and straw coming in!

Excellent therapy for farmers - just run a continuous loop of the harvesting video on the TV until you go to sleep.

Mike we had a 95 JD combine with a 16 header and adding another 16 ft. On each side .to equal what your running..
Dont no if i could see that far
love the ending 🤣
I'm thinkin pucker factor of 9+ mowing on unrolled ground with a mega $$$ machine! At least the yield is there. Looks good!!
Salut Mike magnifique vidéo et la moissonneuse x9 1000 et la coupe et bien équipés et la fuite l'huile moteur 😂😮😅😊
Always remember Mike that a bad crop doesn’t go flat!
Truck load of the day. Seems like the new normal down south here
Those kinds of yields would be perfect for the new af11. Can even use them to combine down south at 10 mph lol
I think that was Welkers in 30 bushel wheat
But in reality it's a cx11 with a coat of red paint out on it and a case cab
You should bring your samples from up north down here and see what you get for them compared to there.
Antifreeze may vaporize when engine is hot; so maybe is that the reason why you can't see it.
Try to look for leakage on cold engine.
You forgot to lift your stairs, 😅haha don't worry I forget all the time too
Nice crop Mike👍
I want to harvest with Mike !!!
So good to see you cutting a wonderful crop! Can you see a big difference with the X9 compared with your S-series John Deere's?

Looking for the update on the house well situation on North farm.
here we go, the exciting part of harvest.. John deere x9 over the north farm, cough cough cough plugged 😂
That's for sure the opposite of Welker Farms blasting through the field in the Case AF-11 going 10 mph in Montana.
Wasn't he pushing 12+ mph at one point
This crop is way more dense than the wheat the Welkers harvest, so forget all about running those speeds. It's incomparable
There wheat crop was 27 bushel to the acre material. It would be fun to see that red 11 series combine go through this stuff.

Mike my friend is going the antifreeze thing right now on his 680 hoping it’s just a head gasket it a problem on them 13 liters
Mike do you have all of your combines running now? Chappel is a awesome little boy.
Yep, it's official.
Mike Mitchell has lost what little marbles he still had 😂😂😂. Now he's yelling at combines.😂😂🤣🤣🤣.
90 bu/acre is pretty good!
Mike, you are not supposed to thresh the wheat with the reel😅
Check the hose clamp on the big hose, looks like it drops down around the back
That's your last drink 😂
Case should bring out their new monster to try against the x9
Check your oil level we had a cooler on one leaking into oil. Didnt discover that till after we overhauled engine thinking cracked. sleeve
Man the Welkers would be jellus of those numbers in weat.
Should've used some of these Harry Potter spells while screaming at the engine bay.
Maybe it would get fixed. 😂
Hello and greetings, Sir Mike. I enjoy your videos. I would love to know about crop farming in Saskatchewan
Nothing runs like a deere until it get a hole in it.
Had a similar leak on a motor, and that hose failed due to a thermostat failure. Might want to check further why that hose failed prematurely....
You should get yourself some center rock traps from some guys in Wilkie sk
They build them for the jd headers
Nothing runs like a deer, wether that is good or bad is yet to be seen lol
And nothing stinks like a John.
Nothing copies like a Deere.
Seems to be doing a much better job chopping this year. That straw is disappeared

Mike, when are you getting your hands on the new JD 9rx 830 for a demo?
Run the chopper in slow speed in tough green conditions and remove the little ramp on the lower chopper house
Would straw shortener be of any benefit at North farm? Definitely reduces lodging in this part of the world. Heavy crops and plenty of rain.
Was that the field you were in the Volvo track machine and met Chapel and Ashtyn?
For the cost difference between the S790 and the X9 is it worth it to buy the X9?
I have heard there is a50% discount for a 1yo model
There isn’t much difference in price. I’ve seen several low houred x9 1100s sell at auction for $285-300,000. They depreciate at a ghastly rate

Well the x9 got twice as many the rotors. Plus a significant larger cleaning area. Should smash a 790 on output.

The farms are over 300 miles apart. Mighty long distance to truck product and then blend it before shipping.
