This is the same year, colour and model I've just purchased. I've had it two weeks, (Feb 2023), it has just over 10000 miles on it. This is a replacement for my 2013 Convertable Diesel Beetle. Top down, looks slick. I'm still learning it's capabilities. I love it. My daughter calls it my "midlife crisis", or "my dream car". I think the latter.
How’s it going so far? I’m planning to get one soon
@@ashique6246663 Good evening. I really like this car, it handles very much like my Beetles. I'm averaging about 33 miles per gallon, not quite as well as the Diesel engine but the pick up is faster. I now have 13,487 miles on the car, it's original miles at delivery were 9,677. I can't complain about anything at this point. It appears to be a diamond in the ruff. It needed tires, a drive belt some brake work spark plugs fuel system and brake system flush, but no concerns. I hope you enjoy yours.
@@normvw4053 thanks a lot for sharing!
Read the manual and do the maintance. Be sure to lower the windows before opening doors, prevents tearing seals that causes leaks. I have a 2007 V6 1000K no problems except struts on trunk. Very cheap. easy install. A great peppy car.
this is the car that I wan to have next. sooo cute
good review .. this car beats all others in its class, the nearest to this is the bmw 3 series but the eos beats this as its got far more room in boot/trunk when roof is down, it has a sunroof as well as retractable roof where as 3 series just has full metal roof, the insurance is far less on the eos & the eos drinks far less fuel plus it comes in a 1.4t which uses loads less fuel than the entry level 318, plus leather seats are far nicer than the beamers, & the roof folds away way more impressively than the beamers, some think the beamer (e93) looks far sexier than the eos and a beamer badge has more status than a vw, the only plus with the beamer (e93) is it has rear wheel drive which would make it more fun to drive than the front wheel drive eos, weigh up the fact that the eos costs half as much in road tax here in uk as the beamer & that owning an eos could save you between £1500 - £4000 a year here in uk compared to owning a bmw 3 series (e93). it makes you wonder why the hell did vw stop production of a car that clearly way ahead of its competition in this class.
Thanks for your comments. I agree EOS should still be produced. One of my favorite hardtop convertibles. Please share the video and subscribe for more videos.
Could'nt agree more...which is why i own one.☺
Really well-done video, thanks for posting! Makes me miss my 2007 2.0 Lux, which unfortunately died at 150,000 miles. Quirky and expensive cars to maintain, but such a joy to drive.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Please share and subscribe for more videos.
how it died ??
these are a lot of fun
Thanks for this...thinking of getting one as a fun second car to replace our TDI wagon that got caught up in Dieselgate. Any impressions on the 3.2 6 cyl. versions in comparison? Is the juice worth the squeeze?
Have not driven one. But, if you like this one the 6 should deepen that smile.
@@AutoNetwork That's what I was thinking...they are like unicorns though...hard to find!
Who's buying this, I can honestly say I don't think I have ever seen this car on the road.
I just saw one today.. That's why I'm here, because the car I saw was stunning lol.
There are very few on the road, because its classy and a pricetag to match, rear leg room is tight. So its basically a 2 seater
I own one.☺
I found one, with 9677 miles on at delivery
Lmaoo after along time in 2024 I got my 2009 volks Eos lux with still 88k miles in it 😁
Nice review and walk around , never been a fan of the EOS ,but after seeing your review, might have to reconsider ! Looks like a nice vehicle , just wish the Tech was better , like bigger screen etc.
Thanks
Joe
The screen is bigger on the Executive trim. I have the Komfort trim as I couldn't afford the higher price trim, even with the $4000 rebate that was offered fro the 2015 models. Still my trim is a nice ride and I get a lot of complements. I didn't like not having the reverse camera and had an after market installed that is exact to the OEM version from NAV-TV.
You all prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account..?

@Daniel Dominick Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now.

@Daniel Dominick It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out!
tks
I have one of these cars it`s a 2ltr turbo diesel engine with six speed manual gearbox and gets 60 mile per gallon.
