@@user-sv7oc9nc8j yes both out countries have similar tropical weather throughout the year. The same spot I place the lithops for day and night. I don't move them.
@@user-sv7oc9nc8j not necessarily unless you have a air conditioning room for them with grow lights. Some people place their lithops in rooms with good grow lights. For me, I just place them outdoor under shade that won't catch rain during the day and night with good sun ray
Can it actually grow outdoor? The temperature in Malaysia recently hit 36 even at shaded area. My lithop rot, just that i not sure whether is dur to the heat. Suppose it survive dessert it could cope the heat. But mine rot. Is it due to the humidity? I feel helpless mine keep dying
Don't feel helpless. If you love this lithops, continue to analyse them. Soil mix, benefiary powder eg: fungicide, insecticide, rooting powder, are you should place your lithops. Area which is away from rain under shade. Watering only when needed- wrinkle. Many reason to rot. Bacteria in soil and cannot be seen, intense heat, lithops not healthy enough to ensure our Malaysia heat / temperature
Morning sun is good before 11am. After 11am, shaded area is better for Malaysia grower. But this would be too much work for you. So placing at the right place in your home is the best. Place it at a good ventilated area and away from the rain. Basic prep by using the correct soil, rooting powder, fungicide and insecticide in your soil is important for the lithops growth. Follow thru with maintenance monthly or once every 2 months 💪💪

Please do not lithops, conophytum, succulent in the fridge
Just bought a pot of these and I'm worried about the sunlight. Is morning sun in Malaysia okay for them or is there a risk of burning?
