It is not your job to fix somebody who has low self-esteem. It's up to her, and I learned that the hard way. She can be beautiful and sassy but still be a horrible human being. You shouldn't be with somebody like that, and you should also not be with a cheater. I also found that out the hard way. As time passes, the relationship gets more complicated and challenging. It also gets more beautiful and amazing when you find someone you're compatible with. But you must respect each other; without work and communication, it won't. Here are lessons I learned the hard way.
Don't date someone with a low self-esteem. When someone has low self-esteem, it will manifest in unhealthy ways. You don't want to be the collateral damage in their inability to love themselves.
Kindness is better than pretty. I'm not saying that you should be with somebody who is unattractive. Still, even if someone is super sassy and banging, their moral compass and integrity are more important. If you're interested in somebody who is using their body or looking for a job or money, be careful because this can be tied to self-esteem. Unfortunately, our society gives pretty people a pass. But remember that appearance is a depreciating asset and will fade.
Ditch those who are lazy. You should only be with her if she has a good work ethic. A good work ethic benefits your relationship because good relationships take hard work. Both people need to be willing to do the work to be successful. If she's lazy, she won't put in the time.
Run if she's a cheater. Once you find out she cheated, run the hell away. Don't accept apologies or let her talk her way back even though it's painful. You didn't fail as a man. There's no amount of love that you can give somebody who's fundamentally broken like a cheater. Cheating is not preventable, and you need to stand up for yourself.
You have to be happy with yourself. You will not be happy in a relationship until you're happy with yourself. Often, people will bounce from relationship to relationship when the issue is themselves not making themselves a priority. Build yourself into the man you want to be first. Get the pieces falling into place, and deal with the baggage you have carried from your childhood or past relationships. Therapy is a gift that you give yourself.
She doesn't allow you to have friends or your own life. Your girlfriend should accept that you have your own life and friends. Being with somebody who understands it's okay to have friends is critical. You are not supposed to morph into one unit in a relationship or a couple. You should have your own goals, dreams, and friends.
She has only guy friends, which is a red flag. If guys surround her and she doesn't have girlfriends, there's a reason. It's not normal.
She has substance abuse issues or is a bad drunk. It won't get any better, so run away. It's not your responsibility to save her. Men like to be the hero, but it's impossible. If someone is not willing to do the work themselves, there's nothing that you can do.
She disrespects you. (a) You should not be with her if she puts you down, talks down to you, makes fun of you or fights dirty. These are monstrous red flags, and it will not get any better. (b) She keeps you from your family. A relationship is a bad idea if she tries to keep you from seeing your family, and it's even worse if she has a bad relationship with her family.
She tells you who she is. You better listen and not think that you can change them. Also, a relationship is a commitment, and it is not advisable if you have different views on politics, religion, and other topics. Further, you're not on the same page sexually (not wanting a physical relationship or using sex as a weapon), this is a warning sign to get out. You need to be on the same page. - Навчання та стиль

Yes, never give a cheater another chance. My first post-marriage relationship ended with her cheating after 7 months. It caught me so off guard that I believed her when she denied it. At first. Then I saw who she really was and I’m really lucky she’s out of my life now.

Holy crap this is spot on. Everything you mentioned is what I went through with now my ex. I noticed all these red flags, she cheated on me, always arguing about the small things and she gets easily triggered. She had low self-esteem, lack of confidence, insecurity and trust issues. There was no way I can fix her issues as she needed to work on it herself. Only reason why I stayed was she was my first love and I was hoping she could change as time went by but it didn’t work out. She left me 2 weeks ago even after everything I’ve done for her. Gave her 100% of me while I was getting 50% of her which is not fair. I learned a lot from this and I will be focusing on me now cause self love is important and I know one day the next girl will be even better. To all you gents out there stay strong good things will come when the time is right.

💯 Agree with everything you say. 👍🏻 This girl I like thinks it is bad when she spends time with people but I told her that I wanted her to hang out with her friends. 😅 She was just concerned if she was not hanging out with me a lot and I told her that I do not always need to be with her. Interesting how that is an opposite but it is working out great! If they matter and you matter, they are going to want you to hang out with people that matter to you and them the same.
I would say another good piece of advice is assess your relationship with this person. This means really take a deep dive with the person and figure out if you should continue or what the relationship is. If it is going in a good direction for you.
Therapy is 100% worth it I've got to say.

I recently had someone try to force me into it. While insulting me, not wanting to listen to why I was ok with myself etc.
Needless to say, we didn't conversate for long.

I'm not trainable. I do things for you because I like you & care about you.
I've had all types of situations towards why I'm choosing to be single even though I do see alot of couples my humanity craves to have that other.
I'm always left asking myself after I talk with these women. At what costs? My peaceful states, integrity, loyalty, mutual values.
If she's a risk on any of these. I force her away.
I've attempted atleast 3 or 4 times so again.

Now I’m single and doing the work on myself for self efficacy and self love. I’m in better shape and I’m on the cusp of a career change. My wife is a good woman overall. But lately I developed a condition likely due to stress which gives me migraines and causes shaking and other symptoms. Sad to say she hasn’t been as supportive

I might be settling to be single at 37. It’s been almost 10 years since my last relationship and 17 years since I last had sex. I get rejected all the time and am just tired of trying. It seems like there are more reasons to be single than there are to be in a relationship.

Last summer I was going motorboating and to be nice I invited 2 girls on a days trip with me. One of the chicks I had been dating before. The one I wasn't dating got upset that I wouldn't stop at a store for her on the way to buy some cigaretes. My truck and boat trailer is not the easiest to maneuver and I cannot revers wit this without it flexes and damage the fenders so I couldn't park it easily. I told her this and got yelled at in return. I simply told her to get out of my truck, then my date also started to be nasty at me and she was kicked out next. We left them on the side of the highway. They never got kidnapped but had to hitch hike all the way back home to town while me and my buddies ripped it up at the lake all day. We had a good day even it would have been fun with a couple of broads to share. My friends however supported that I had kicked them out, no man with self respect shall tolerate this kind of behavior from a woman. Sometimes I think women should learn to be respectful to men.

Hmm, codependency is a red flag. Attraction is nothing about personality nor intelligence or emotional intelligence. Crushes are not logically based nor on the right person. Consistently level up in your level in regards to the relationship. And be honest and genuine with yourself. Be honest with each other if you can accept each other for themselves. Don't make it first impressions. Trust your instincts. Don't take guru advice. Liers are everywhere they could be lying in a Relationship too. Look at past partners, sexual history too. Wanting a relationship before a friendship nor has even been invited. Not respecting each other's boundaries. Not knowing this person in particular, (that one hurts). Emotional cheating, been in it, (I feel sorry for the man who isn't aware of it.) Laziness and getting comfortable. Priorities and ambitions don't coexist with each other. Have nothing in common nor personal values for together, (like religion). Masculine in terms of ego and insecurities, and belittles others. Narcissistic behaviour. Contradicts herself. Friends with benefits, is a waste of time and doesn't work in real life. I've experienced all of these from personal experience and have done my research. (Even as a kid I knew all of these from males and females were silly.) His/her emotions are not your responsibility.

As I got older I learned that wasn't the case. There are wicked women, I learned a bad female has the potential to ruin you. I will as an atheist who was raised baptize, the whole religious thing can be 50/50 I’ve met girls who who I didn’t believe and we stil had a bomb ass time together, I’ve met girls who one they found out I didn’t believe they’d act accordingly.
However my fiancé believes but I still necessary don’t. We have a kid & I’m not the type to push my views so I let her do her, she’s raising my daughter in the church however once my child becomes of age to ask why dad don’t go to church I’ll tell her & let her decide.
We didn't talk about the mistakes of hookup culture, people have a idea about hookup culture. Then when they turn 30, all of a sudden rightful and good decisions are being made. Let's look at the downsides, black mail, cheating, stds, possibly pregnancy, lust and nothing about the person. False hope in regards of a relationship. Not any good character and morals and values in hookups. Hooking up with the wrong person.
Pros, having a good time or a bad time, depnding on eachother, (also a con.) Lust and desires are met. First impressions leed to good times. Not worrying about tomorrow. Ignorance is a blissful thing.
As you can see I've marked each things, the cons outweigh the pros, there's also undesirable partners, or associates, unlikable character, possibly anxiety and performance inregards tot he wrong person, attraction is only physical 🧲. Most likely zero romance. And stds are a thing yet again. Same as recating to impulse. Not taking proper measures.
I agree with most of what alpha m. says but there should be no such thing as a girls or guys night out! Why? Because allowing them to go to a club or bar without you, is a recipe for them to cheat! 👎😢
