Hi MacKenzie, I have a couple of questions. I just started using Quizizz & Kahoot (look forward to trying Blooket soon!): 1) Do you foresee the continual adoption of these tools once schools open up and there's in person classes? 2) What do you think are the critical features that Quizizz that you'd love to see?
Thank you! I've used Blooket with much success. The students really get into it -- even the most reluctant learners. Pity that it doesn't do data as well as Quizizz. I was always curious about Quizizz, so your video gave me a great intro.
They serve different purposes and definitely agree about the fun vs data aspect. So happy to hear this was a helpful intro to Quizizz and that your students are enjoying Blooket! 🙌🏼
Can Quizziz quizzes be exported to Blooket? Or can Blooket import from Quizziz? I apologize - if this is in the video, I ran out of time and cannot finish watching it right now.
Thanks for the comparison. I just began trying Booklet yesterday and most of my students enjoyed it. I found that the ones that had trouble reading found it challenging and frustrating . My question is are there any programs similar to this that can read the questions to the students?
Hi, to add a quizizz you need to share the link with your students after you create/select the one you want to play or have them enter the game code. I show this during the "student access" part of the video. I usually share the link in Google Classroom, or just drop the link in the chat if on Zoom/Google meet. I hope that helps!
Quizizz is not boring....it is quite effective plus you get the results emailed to you If you need the data. Yes, Blooket is great fun. I just don't know how to edit the mistakes made by teachers that set up Blookets.
My number one piece of advice, for either of these websites, with middle or high schoolers is *do not let them pick their own usernames.*
No. Just no
Definitely. Besides, if you use it for formal reports/grades you need to know the name of the participants.
Tell them if their name doesn't match, it's an automatic zero. I don't know who Jenny Tolls or Alpha Kenny Buddy are. 🤷🏽
You are awesome!! Thanks for ALL of the informational videos. ❤❤ I cant wait to use these tips this year😊
Wishing you the most wonderful year ahead! Exciting! 🥰❤️
Amazing! Thank you for this video!
You da' real MVP for making a video about the question I had.
Fun times! Enjoy! 🙌🏼

I do think so, yes. I didn't think much about future features that don't exist yet though.

Booklet sucks because you can’t see what the student answered wrong unless you buy a subscription.
What is your opinion of Kahoot?
Thanks for the comparison. I just began trying Booklet yesterday and most of my students enjoyed it. I found that the ones that had trouble reading found it challenging and frustrating . My question is are there any programs similar to this that can read the questions to the students?
Hi Nellie! So far Quizizz is the only online quiz game I have found that has the read aloud option for students once they join the game.
@@TeacherFYI thanks for the information. I will definitely check out that feature.
