  • The Whole Lott.
On November 5th, 2021, legendary boxing manager and historian Steve Lott passed away at the age of 71 in Las Vegas. Steve was deeply entrenched in the sweet science of boxing and its history; he lived a full life in which he had many incredible experiences. Not only was he a walking and talking boxing encyclopedia, but he also echoed and reverberated the lessons taught to him by his mentors Jim Jacobs, Bill Cayton and Cus D’Amato. His knowledge of boxing and its history was second to none but what made him truly special was his kindness and sincerity. The Whole Lott will honour and help to preserve the legacy of the one and only, Steve Lott. 👑🐐🥊

That was a beautiful tribute to our late friend Steve Lott, I had the opportunity to speak with Steve Lott on the Telephone. His generosity was legendary always willing to help you and enlighten you on specifics regarding his experiences in the Boxing Game. Learning of his untimely passing in 2020 was akin to losing a best friend. I always had dreamed if I had a fighter that Steve would be the manager because then I could be sure that every aspect of handling the business of boxing would be done to perfection. Rest in Peace Steve, Until we meet again. Sincerely Michael J. Coppola

Not sure what you do for a living but if we came to your job and tried to tell you how to do it having never done it before, we would look pretty ridiculous don't you think? Your passion and love for boxing is appreciated and noted 🙏🏼

Can't wait . To think he connected globally . An individual who I communicated with weekly for over decacde . He always surprised me with how much history he knew . I loved his STRAIGHT UP fight analysis regarding yesterday and today's fighter. He would say 'Kumel they are tomatoe cans'

May Mr. Steve lot rest in peace great video, great tribute he always provided great insight to the Mike Tyson story a lot of people speculate, but Steve was the first hand so he would know how did he pass away? I didn’t think he was that old. Did he have cancer or something?

We appreciate you brother - he was a very special person, not just for us but for boxing and its history. We have three unreleased interviews we did with Steve prior to his passing and we will be releasing those in the near future. He drops even more knowledge in those and shares stories that even we had never heard before. He definitely touched many many people, even people he had never met. There will never be another Steve Lott.
