IF the artwork for this proposed board game has yet to be addressed, might I suggest/make a plea that to both provide it a USP and to pay homage to its FF roots, that all illustration work inc. the board tiles (except for the box art (maybe) and the tokens) be rendered in B&W only? It would look great if done well and all done by one artist! look at the very 1st ed of Talisman illustrated entirely by Gary Chalk and mostly in B&W - it looked great - far superior to later versions. I believe that lots of game developers really turn-off potential buyers by not getting the aesthetics right - and a chief faux-pas is to employ lots of different artists with different styles/quality to contribute to what is supposed to be a product of singular atmosphere. Just a thought.
@@ariongames8822 The “Blip” Token system *perfectly* captured the terror of the “Motion Tracker Suspense” sequences in “Aliens” (1986) *perfectly* … hey speaking of which, will there be wandering-monsters in this game on patrol, with a similar “suspense of what’s lurking in the shadows” system in this game? 🙂🎲🎲⚔️
Looks very promising, shame we didn’t spot you at FFF4. One thing though dude, perhaps it would be good if your video titles included what the video is about moving forward? Your channel is Arian Games and there’s no need to know how many videos you’ve made before, BUT there is a good reason to let your potential audience know what the video is about? Just a thought. Ah, tiles that allow Dungeons to be different with every playthrough; oh having very fond memories of "Space Hulk" right now.
Exactly. You never know what the dungeon will look like or where the boss is to be found! I have Space Hul on my shelf, and loved that game!

It's kinda like Hero Quest or Warhammer Quest.
Will you be able to level up your character?
There is a basic levelling up/experience mechanism which is similar to that of Talisman. Defeat enough monsters and you can get a bit better.
Looks like it will be a lot of fun to play. Will there be a campaign element to allow for longer term character progression?
Looks very similar to the Dungeons and Dragons board games (Ashardalon / Ravenloft / Drizzt).
